The new planes
#1
Ok so for those of you in Tespia I have a couple of questions about the new planes that can take you from region to region. Most importantly whats the point? I think there are three types of planes(Red, and green for sure and maybe brown one? I think I read that somewhere), but as far as I know only one(the red one) has any effect on travel time, so details there plz. Next how much do they cost? I know its 5000 to actually fly them but how much does it cost to get one? Is there some type of minigame involved in flying? do you get to fly around the map and collect stuff, or something? Any details would be much appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. Does anyone know what jump patch they came out during in KMS? I looked at Spadow's old blog posts for jump and he didn't mention them at all.

You can buy 1 day or 7 day versions of the green or red plane (yeah, there's only two kinds). 7 day red is 150k, that's all I can remember since it's the only one I buy.
There's no minigame, you just get sent to a map where you can fly around in an airplane if you want, or just afk. Multiple people can be in the same map though.

Well thanks for the info. Besides the red plane it seems like a waste of money.

Oh and they came out in the first part of the Jump update, along with the 120- Monster Park.

From what I can tell, they're faster because you don't have to wait for the boat, but then again, most people use an indirect method of travel (I go to the BM/WH place first, then orbis).

It's possible that the planes are faster, or they have routes otherwise inaccessible.

they are faster most of the time iirc, but travel the same airways that are already in place. no magatia->leafre or such
