Naruto Thread (Spoilers For Sure)

It doesn't need explanation as to how it works, it needs explanation that the technique exists BEFORE it becomes an example of new powers as the plot demands.

If she's the only character that's been able to do thus far, and it's been provided in the manga Orichi was a scientist who made essentially monsters, and there are bloodline limits, I don't think the author providing yet another filler chapter is necessary. I just figured orichi either did something to her to allow her to do that, or is a bloodline trait.

Also the hawk summoning was another demonstration of irony because he himself represented the hawk, starting out as an egg for orichi to take control over, only to face a fully grown hawk, waiting too long.

I wanna see Tsunade get her hands dirty in this war, what else does she have up her sleeve besides extraordinary healing powers.

Feel like I'm gonna get in an argument here from someone..But Tsunade is almost useless. Okay that's an exageration, but she's not as good as some of these other people coming out, these top notch people like 3rd Raikage or Pain or Itachi. She's on maybe...Kakashi level.

And that's an overstatement. She can maximize chakra punches and pull nice damage. Okay great. She can summon slugs and heal. <- her main quality and they won't show anything else.

I'll give you this, maybe Tsunade will show up on a battlefield with Raikage and Raikage goes offensive and kicks ass and Tsunade starts healing people.

Sure healing is essential to war but it's kind of lame, you're not gonna see her kick ass like Kakashi and Gaara are doing.

Feel like I'm gonna get in an argument here from someone..But Tsunade is almost useless. Okay that's an exageration, but she's not as good as some of these other people coming out, these top notch people like 3rd Raikage or Pain or Itachi. She's on maybe...Kakashi level.

Dam man. It almost hurts that you insulted Kakashi. Dude is an absolute beast. Wait for him to go on his rampage. I hope Kakashi gets his chance to re-prove himself to those of you who apparently don't think he is badass enough.

I unno obelisk, she's one of the 3 senin and a hokage. I feel like she's got a lot more tricks up her sleeve.

1) Titles don't mean pomegranate.

2) Especially Hokage seeing how fast and how much its been past around now.

3) If Tsunade had any more "tricks" she would've used them by now, but alas she is a female and Kishimoto hates females in this series. They're all reduced to healers which is equivalent to "peach get your ass back in the kitchen" here.

We can hope though she DOES get a defining moment, such as possibly hulking out. Or be able to pull antics like Pain and AoE heal/save people from the brink of death. Okay the 2nd one is "healer" role, but when you can heal dozens to hundreds of people at once, it's kinda hard to argue that that's a terrible ability.

No CrazyforDex I'm not insulting her. Her attack power is certainly worthless compared to Kakashi but in terms of overall usefulness she's probably equal to if not better than him.

Her healing an entire portion of the army at once at a critical moment is more than Kakashi alone could do. I know Kakashi is pineappleing amazing genius talented and all but in a huge war like this...He's not stacking up to others. Even Gaara isn't the dangerous animal he could be.

And Dustbunny I know but of the three Sanninlolsennin she's obviously far weaker than the other two. There is no denying Jiraiya was a monster at battle. Orochimaru was also incredibly badass, look at how many bases/followers he had, he set up the Sound pineappleing village, developed all sorts of techniques and catalysts like Jugo's transforming thing, and he was a monster in battle doing things virtually no one else could. Tsunade? Kind of suckish.

Edit here: And as Hokage she isn't THAT pro. I mean some Kages are straight up beast. Chickflirtkage has two kekkeigenkai. Old man has dust techniques. Raikage is pineappleing fast. Gaara has his crazy ass sand. Tsunade...Lol. Danzo was more interesting. Everyone else in Konoha is just too underpowered and wouldn't do a good job. Kakashi is really the only other choice but I really see him more of a fighter than sitting around planning and taking charge and taking care of crazy large things when pomegranate hits the fan, like 3rd Raikage fighting 8 tails or Minato fighting 9 tails.

I just don't know what else she could have "up her sleeve" and I don't think they'll show anything extra for her besides maybe some healing.

That's my point though, she has to have something more as she IS the hokage, and a legendary senin. I mean I didn't think pervy sage was worth anything until he fought pain, and orichi was a master of science. Sakura essentially has been and has done everything tsunade has shown us. I just feel like she hasn't the opportunity to shine.

The official Hokage title has only been passed on once in the series. That guy with all the damn eyes and stuff wasn't even the official Hokage and only a candidate I am pretty sure.

I was talking about insulting Kakashi, not Tsunade. She is an amazing healer, with a large amount of strength and other techniques (in a nut shell). He is one of the strongest jounin (if not the strongest) and probably the most realistic person in the series if you go by chakra levels. OMG HE ACTUALLY RUNS OUT OF CHAKRA. HOLY. pomegranate. Either way, every time the man does anything, it usually blows my mind. Although he is not cut out to be Hokage as he says he doesn't want to be it, he is still pretty amazing.

I have to totally agree with everything obelisk said. Females in Naruto just lack on pretty much everything. The most badass female opponent whose full abilities we've seen yet was Guren imo.

,who is filler. I still hold hope for Tsunade and Mei though. I didn't think much of some kages like the 3rd raikage untill he got that hype in the latest chapter so I think at least Mei will show some awsome moves against Black Zetsu and Tsunade might get some more time in the spotlight too. You guys might not think she's amazing but well I do One touch of her nerve-changing technique is enough to pineapple a lot of people up. Then she has incredibly tanking capability, huge team support, has one of the greatest summons there is and don't forgot her monster strenght. She healed an entire village for crying out loud, provided it put her in a coma but still, using kamui puts kakashi out for a while too.

Latest chapter wasn't that great. I prefer the older characters and don't really like the writer introducing so many new characters from all differnt nations in the series. Oww look here is this one famous guy we've never heard about before. Well he has this and this ability and this other guy with this and this ability will pineapple him up in like 2 chapters, I'm looking at you kin/gin with Darui.
