Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

As usual the Europians draw the short end of the stick again with increased maintenance times, long log in queue's, no dominion yet and lots of bugs on the pvp.net server. Apperently the matchmaking system couldn't manage to get me with other people in 40 minutes and when I canceled it the next 50 minutes weren't enough either. Needless to say I just closed it and did a full restart on my computer hoping to improve and I'm now in the log in queue of 40 minutes, EU riot. Also to the one guy who wanted my IGN. It's the same as my username here: SolicShooter and yeah probably not going to do you much good since I play EU and you don't. The only thing that's understandable is Riot not releasing dominion straight away because we're at peak hours now and the US aren't, but still it's dissapointing to say the least.

In other news I finally got around and downloaded LoL recorder thingy and in the coming week I'll try to post a few matches here if I find out how and I hope you guys can give me some constructive criticism here and there. (not too much obviously )

Got to play one game just in time, got there 10 mins before queues closed. We were winning hard hard, we had like 200 points and they had 23, but they turned it around and won, from that point on they almost never had less than 3 captured points and they got down to 9 before we lost. It was fun and fast, but I have so many things to try, like builds and characters.

I just had a game like this but i was in the losing team, danggg we rocked hard at the middle of the game. Sad part is the enemy heim DC for a few minutes and that let us seize the victory.

I think i gonna load that game to YT.

From playing Dominion a few games I noticed that assassins and tanky DPS (big surprise there) dominate.

Irelia, Poppy, Akali, Lee Sin, and Kassadin are all very powerful.

Enemy had an irelia and boy was that annoying and strong.

I forgot to mention:
I played Akali
I got 2nd place in points
I got a quadra kill (lol they were all weak, jumped in with ult, used E and 3 died, then finished last with q)

My last game on dominion

Was a pretty good game, i would load a video but im lazy to do so .

From the five games i played i noticed:

-Usually there will be 1 or 2 champs rushing for the top capture point to gain advantage.

-Capture points damage its usually ignorable in the last levels but its usually a bad idea to dive in still.

-Capture points wont shoot if they are grey of if there is a champ trying a capture. A single hit will stop a champion trying to capture for at least 1-3secs (Theres a Capture CD)

-No neutral mobs so far, you get speed buffs in 3 points on the middle of the map (You just have to walk by to get the buff), and a storm buff when you stand still for 2-3secs in the center of the map (Only when the buff is there of course), theres also some consumables to recover some hp spread out on the map.

You don't keep up on the news much, do you? Dominion is purposely made to be extremely fast-paced. There's a reason why you start at level 3 and the death timers are like 1/3rd the original time or something.

Also, sucks that I was 3 hours away from being able to play Dominion lol
Randomly woke up at 3am and went back to bed at 5:30am. Sadface times.

Plus any Champions with huge movement speed boosts. EX. Rammus, TF, MANtheon, Ez, Kass, etc.

Not like it's hard to get a good early game. Xin's laning is pretty good, his jungle ganks are superb. Once he turns 6, his damage is insane.

Anything short of a terrible match up or horrendous skill at ganking; xin is alright.

Even if all goes bad; just go pure tank. His R has 0 scaling anyway.

Now I'm tempted to retry Xin, how would you build him? I always went Wriggles -> Boots/Attack Item -> Defense -> Defense -> Defense -> Attack (If game went long enough).

Not to mention that:

-You get 15% armor pen and 5% magic pen
-Gain Exp Passively (I think even while dead)
- -20% Recovery Effects

You also start with like 2k gold and minions give 30gold per lasthit.

This sucks i just did 8/2 as jarvan in ranked more impressive
But leblanc is just too good imo its all about Q+R+W+E

I uninstalled LoL from my laptop since it doesn't work, so now I definitely won't be on during the weekdays.

Be grateful for living in the US, really grateful. After the downtime and queue's I described earlier I finally got in a game with a pretty solid team. It was about to start, but it didn't for some reason it stayed frozen and everyone could still chat. I was forced to leave and reenter the 40 minute long log in queue once again. After that I find myself with disconnected players for I think it was 14 times in a row leading to matches being dodged constantly.

After I finally got there we lost a fucking 4vs5 because our Jax was incredibly stupid and went support, stole all my cs, while barely harassing enemy MF, who was alone leaving me alone and vulnerable as ad carry. Orianna fed mid like crazy against kassadin and top wasn't doing that great either but certainly didn't lose his lane. We had Rammus jungle who is known for a slow jungle and he had the most horrible ganks. Not to mention that he went 3 cloth armours for some reason. And then they start blaming me for dieing a lot against shaco/garen/kassadin while I've little to no escape mechanism as MF (Kassadin was 13/2/something eventually). After this horrible excuse of a game I think there is a bug because the queue I was trying to join was disabled apparently. Because Riot still expects me to search to their fucking forum to find out what's actually happening instead of posting an announcement up front on their site like they should I found out there was an emergency maintenance. Welcome to the great Europian Fields of Justice. GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!

Can't wait to play Akali in Dominion. I was at school .

You start at 1350 gold, lvl 3. Small minions give 30 gold, large melee minions give 60 gold. No idea what a promoted minion gives. MS buffs are nerfed for Dominion mode.

You know why it was created but you're surprised you had 2 games only lasting 20 minutes average? That's just below the average time on Twisted Treeline and it's exactly what this map is trying to do. Create a variety of game types so you manage your time better.
