Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

So uh, is there any core items for riven?

I tried her out and even though i found her really fun i found i wasn't bringing out her full potential because i had no idea what to build. I went Wriggles, CDR Boots, Brutalizer, Frozen Mallet and it didn't seem to be that good.

My usual build is:
Doran's Blade
Brutalizer
Boots
Bloodthirster
Guardian Angel
Ionian Boots
Last Whisper/Bloodthirster
Yomuu's Ghostblade
Bloodthirster/Frozen Mallet

Very similar build to pantheon, because they both need AD as early as possible to do well early game.

Pregame: Duel asks someone to take ignite for Jax. He was jungle lee (smite and flash) while I was tank Cho (fort and flash), and we had a Nidalee (ghost and flash) and Soraka (exhaust and flash) and Miss fortune (exhaust and flash). I waited for at least one of the other dudes to switch since Fortify is such an underrated but extremely useful skill (Manu can attest to that) but none of them took ignite, so I was like eff this and took it.

So apparently Nidalee and Soraka called mid but so they both went mid and stayed there for at least 5 minutes while I was yelling at one of them to at least come to top while I go bot to help Miss Fortune, but they apparently had huge egos and stayed there for a while. I thought we lost this until Soraka finally swallowed her pride and went bot.

Oh and Nidalee was peaching at me the entire time, since I had a 1-4-3 record at the end. Screw you. I died to tower dives the first 2 times (sorry Duel, but unless they have a team of Mundos, I'm not carrying ignite again D=). The 3rd time was due to my feast getting absorbed by Nocturne's spell shield, and the last time was in a teamfight near the end. Anyways that blasted Nidalee never died (ending up like...3-3) due to me saving her butt at least twice and her summoner spells (and her ult) and...her positioning at staying in the back every damm teamfight. Anyways she got really cocky and was like "How many kills I have to get to carry you scrubs?" and then she got ganked by overextending while I, being irritable at how this entire game is going, said "Shut up you got ganked." She then, being the huge ego she had, started insulting me the rest of the match by saying how I was the worst Cho she ever saw. pineapple you, I have a normal elo higher than you, judging by the draft mode pick order.

Ugh your post reminded me of last game, people are going SERIOUS on Normal Draft. So I was asked to pick a jungler and Udyr was taken and amumu banned so I picked fiddle, top and mid fed but bot was a duo queue doing good, the bot taric (ours) didn't stop bitching the whole game and it was a fucking long game, he said that we sucked and pomegranate.... I had a horrible score like 3/7/5 but it wasn't my fault.... first of all their team was good, they warded my blue 100% of the time mid game so I just couldn't take it because whenever I got near 3 people would go gank me, then when I ganked top with ult I had a lag spike and did nothing but ult, didn't terrify or drain the teemo so they said I was dumb even after I said I lagged... then I ganked mid flashed in and terrified/drained cait but ryze joined like 20 minutes late and when terrify ended she flashed away, but then ryze AND talon followed her into tower and got double killed....

Anyway the whole game was about Taric bitching about he and his partner were the only good players in like the whole game and that everyone else sucked.

Just played a normal game, draft mode

The amount of e-penor flaunting there is just amazing sometimes. People trash talking and calling each other "scrubs", "baddies", etc. Doesn't make it different than the ranked matches.

Though one good thing is that there isn't lots of string attached. If you lose, you lose. You don't lose anything.

Sooo I don't know what the hell hit me today, but I decided to buy akali at random. I had played her before on her free week once or twice and I SUCKED like horrible, from then on I always thought that akali needed a really specific set of runes to be good. Today I realized it's not like that at all.

Game 1 went ok, I got somewhat fed early game and was like 5/2/3, but then I started being focused by Tryn and died a LOT and tryn get fed off everyone since no one got armor and we lost. Game 2 was fair, finished 6/3/3 nothing amazing. Game 3 was the good one, I got so fed it was amazing:

I think akali needs ap runes
And you dont really need to be fed to dominate i feeded once like 5 kills and carry the game she's amazing at doing that

Since when is 5 kills = Feeding? In fact, since when is 1 kill = Feeding!?

Akali is definately my new favorite, carried the last 3 games hard. 18/7/16, 14/5/9 and the pic I showed earlier. She's really fun to play and her burst is huuuuge.

Pretty epic game right there. It's been a long time since I've flexed ap carry role but it felt nice to get back in the seat again.
I've been trying to work on dps and tank roles in normals usually.

It was alright, though some of us could do better (I made quite a few mistakes here and there. Bleh =\)

My play cost us the second game and should've cost us the first.

In unrelated news, Karma is a refreshing change from what I normally play.

Targeted Active on Guardian Angel

It's a pretty huge exploitable glitch in where you can target anything (Ally, Enemy, Tower, Creep, etc) and it will proc any and all items / abilities (Malady / Rageblade / Tear / etc), and pop enemy BVs at will. The worse part? It has no CD at all.
The only two confirmed passives it procs is Udyr's and Lee Singer's. Annie's doesn't proc off of it.

LOL? I was just complaining about that earlier in the anivia game I posted.

Haha I didn't realize I could use it for anything useful though!
Everytime I would try it nothing happened just made me stop moving.
