Preparing for Jump: Skills/books

I know for warriors achilles turns into their new skill, but does mana reflection or fire/ice demon/??? turn into mist explosion, glacial chain and advanced bless?

For BM's: What turns into illusion step and what in advanced puppet?

What happens to the existing mastery books?


Anything else I should know? > Are we getting free resets? I heard something about an event where you get a 100% lv 10 to 30 skillbook at lvl 70? Is that tradeable?

If I recall correctly, for bowmasters mastery books change as follows:

Hamstring->Illusion step
Dragons breath -> Sharp Eyes
Concentrate -> Advanced Final Attack
Phoenix-> Spirit Link Phoenix
Other skills are unchanged

Either Advanced puppet doesn't need a book, or you'll have to find a new one, becuase none of these become the new book.

The 100% 10->30 skillbook event is untradeable, and you get choose between getting one class related skill ( I think Bowmasters can choose from spirit link, sharp eyes, illusion step or Advanced final attack) or a mystery mastery book (lol)

Oh wow so it's basically useless for lv 70+. (Xept maybe cheaper books in the long run)

Little happy though that I don't have to make a sidechar to 70 for one item again

Mana Reflection gets removed completly, it doesn't transform into a new skill.

Arcane Aim is a completly new skill. You will need new mastery books or use the 100% one.

Fire Demon --> Mist Explosion
Ice Demon --> Glacial Chain

I'm not sure, but I think advance bless gets a completly new Skill ID, meaning you will need mastery books for this one.

We should get 100% skill resets, but perhaps they will make us wait for a hot time event.

I recommend that for existing mastery books you use them before the patch, in case they become useless. But if not, theyll change into what they need to.

No but any dragons breath skillbooks you happen to have will become Sharp Eyes skillbooks. If you've already passed SE don't worry about it.

Thats just how the mastery books change, i'm lead to believe that some of the skills (namely phoenix and concentrate) being passed might not give you the skill it's swapped from in the Arrow of Speed update, so even with Conc and Phoenix passed you might need to repass AFA and Spirit link, which is annoying to say the least). We won't know for sure until it happens.

Venegence becomes ultimate inferno, but neither of those 2 need any skillbooks (they cap at 10) so it's not really of any importance.

I know this is pretty much off topic, but for jump, if Nexon decides to do the character event (the one where you get a magic ring at 1st job advance, the skillbooks at 70, etc.), would it be better to just karma over my zhelm and belt to a character now while they're cheap? Or wait till the specifics come out? Don't know if the event applies only to new characters created after the event start.

Wait till the specifics, specially for this kind of events. My reason to say this is because of the ABR and the DABR. Might get screwed up all over again. So yeah, better to wait.

It's because my friend quit maple and gave me all his F/P stuff. It's better that it get to be used than laying waste on my bishop. Sort of an Honorable memory type thing (not to mention I basically haven't played a mage since I started maple and Nexon locked my account by making the mandatory PW change).

I'm usually not a "Search!" whore, but this topic is slightly aggravating because it's eating into my bottom line, so if info must be given, I might as well take some annoyance out. Learn to search.

Oh, I didn't know Inferno capped at 10, I thought it capped at 30. Well that saves some trouble then.

Whoopsy

So, as a level 200 Hero with all my skills maxed (except Rush and MM), the only skill I need to worry about getting is Advanced Final Attack.
And from what those other threads indicate, current Concentrate mastery books will turn into that? Or just into the bowman AFA?
Or will my level 30 Achilles turn into level 30 AFA?

Does Hamstring Mastery book turn into Illusion step mastery book :o?
