[PSP - Upcoming] God Eater 2 (Updated with Trailer)

Since the PSV thread is now dead for unknown reasons, I have opened this thread.

God Eater 2 takes place three years after the original. New weapons such as the Boost Hammer and Charge Spear will be in the game. Next up, take this bit with a grain of salt, but reports also mention that the game has a different visual style from the original God Eater. Apparently, it looks similar to Final Fantasy Type-0.

God Eater 2 will also feature something called the “Engagement System” and new Aragami, of course, will be part of the package. The game is slated for release in 2012.

The "Engagement" system seems to be a new feature that allows you to share an OP gauge with 1 other character. If you are a melee weapon user, you obviously wont be using OP when your slashing away. So instead, all that OP your building when your slashing away is shared by a gunner that you have "Engaged" with.

This helps players who want to be pure gunners play out that role much better. And on the flip side, I think that stamina may also be shared so the melee user can move around much more (not sure about that though).

EDIT: It seems that it's set (once again) in the Fenrir Far East branch, but you now play as a member of an elite special-ops unit called BLOOD. There will also be some NPCs returning from previous games (only confirmed one is Alisa), and apparently, you can transfer your GE/GEB game save...

It just happened to be announced in Famitsu in the article listing announced PSV games. Sort of like a "oh, by the way..." kind of thing.

Inb4 Bandai-Namco decides to release a GE2+DLC NVG outside of Japan instead of the GE2 UMD.

Since they added more melee weapons...I wonder if they added more ranged weapons? The Boomerang used in the GE manga seems interesting; its sharp edge doubles as a sword, and it's also capable of firing bullets.
