Just thought I'd let you know that the game is coming out in mere days. I have been in the CB, and the game aint half bad. Maybe I will see some of you there, cause god nows GMS is going downhill atm.

Yeah, I've read the announcement yesterday. I've tried the CBT and as expected, the gameplay was smooth. I've heard negative things about Perfect World, but the way they manage this game is positive.

I've also heard that there will be a dedicated server for Europe. Smile

I will definitely play OBT on September 13th.
What character are you gonna pick? I picked Angela in the Korean version, but she was a bit overpowered. I tried Frantz in CBT. I think I'm going for Tude as my main character.

Tude, unsure about claw or gauntlet focus though. I love claws, but the claws are friggin ugly as far as I have seen.

I got in the closed beta, played it once, never went back. Pretty boring imo.

That is the beauty when coming from MapleStory. I am now impervious to boring, so I can easily give a game a good shot without getting bored. Rusty Hearts is worth a second look, but I guess it will not float ever single players boat.

I played it for a couple of days during closed beta, but due that technical error I had that could only be solved by faking out the patcher and using a bat file to launch the client, I decided to hold off until that was fixed.

If that's fixed for Open Beta, I might give the game another go.

Better than me, who got into the closed beta but didn't even download it.

What the hell does this mean? Why would you play a boring game at all? If it's boring, it doesn't deserve a good shot.

Signed up for CBT, got an e-mail saying I got into CBT.

Apparently, there was a technical glitch, causing the e-mail I got to NOT have a code (for obtaining a beta key) enclosed, rendering me unable to join CBT.

Go figure.

Many a game start of dull but pick up after a while. And what I ment by Maple and boring is that it is grindy. Any player with roots in Maple should have a higher tolerance factor than most, but of course, boring might mean something else entirely. As an example, when I tried WoW out it had a really boring first hour or two running around doing retarded tasks looking at the ugly characters, but it picked up after that.

Pretty much, though I am sure there are differences other than the obvious design ones. I am sure I would enjoy DFO too, but Nexon does not like Europeans much.
