You got no idea how much I hate that Shoulder pad...in 30 cubes..I got 18% of everything...except STR...and the 21% MP.. =( I was seconds away from just throwing enhances on it and breaking it. Finally settled with 15% str... for now..

Is there something I am missing about the 50% shoulderpad scrolls from the silent crusade? Like they havingg a working ratio lower than 50% or something? Because otherwise I don't see why people would choose to spend billions and billions of mesos on chaos scrolls.

Errr is my shoulder pad not proof alone why some people choose Chaos over Shoulder scrolls?

For one they add more attack, at the chance that they work, and don't take away attack. Second, you don't need to do that boring quest line for days on end to reach shoulder scrolls. Third, they can't explode your item....

common sense lol. And not everyone spends "billions and billions" I spent less than a billion on my shoulder pad..

For the same reason people use 30% scrolls on their equipment instead of 60%'s (or even 100%'s). They want more attack and are willing to pay with many more costly failures to reach that.

Your shoulderpad is one of the best ones I've seen so far, yet it only has 4 att above one scrolled with crusader scrolls (not to mention it has -9 str -1 dex). If thats about the best you can accomplish I don't find it really worthy to spend over a billion using chaos scrolls. The quest might be a bit long but it only requires a bit of patience, less patience than you need to have to see your chaos scrolls and money burning without giving up.

To a lot of people, obviously not yourself, 4 more attack means quite a bit. Especially when you got as much weapon attack as I do, and the level that my char is. As for the strength, I got plenty of that to spare that losing 9 of it really didn't affect anything.

But what I think Byakugan was getting at is the one guy on SP who spent over 9bil just to get a 11atk shoulder, pre-hammer.

I guess depending on the price of Chaos scrolls, it can be a better deal to just Chaos to victory as opposed to using the Crusade scrolls.

Crusade scrolls don't take away attack on failure, albeit it's 25%.
