Another Reason Why Other Versions Are Funner

Come on, they get a freaking event that has so much interactivity between the real world players and those in the game. Whats the best event prize we have had? Laptops and Desktops, because they want us to play the game MORE.

yeah, but you see Singapore and malaysia, whose players make up the vast majority of MSEA's player base, are right next to each other. It's like if they had a California and Nevada event. It's not a big drive.

Global services mostly the US and Canada, which pretty much constitutes an entire continent. If they had a real world event, it would undoubtedly be held in LA, and then everyone who lives on the east coast, or even anyone who lives in the central US is immediately unable to attend. Kinda unfair to give players who live close to Nexon headquarters an advantage, huh?

I mean heck, the only reason I was able to attend the thing at the LA Anime Expo was because I was already planning to go to that anyway. It was pure dumb luck.

true, it would just be nice to see more event like this. Im gonna try and get tickets to this years E3, and who knows, maybe NEXON will be there to give out free stuff. But the fun is more with interacting with others. Even if they were to have sperate events that they did in certain areas, it would be nice.

This massive event is to just bring back players after the Ranking hacks.

Over there, competitive gaming is quite huge. I don't really see this working in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.

I spoke with one of the desktop computer winners (it was one of my guildie in Khaini) and they never gotten the computer lol.

They only physical prize I ever heard that Nexon gave out was a plushie doll that Mintrified won.

lol exclusive mount is pretty cool.

Having played in MapleSEA myself, I can say that they do have better Events and GM presence. However, the community, language barriers, and the paradigms in MapleSEA would surely deter many, if not most gMS players~

probably the only one to get a prize of this size, and they still f-ed up with the monitor. Overall, theres some things that Nexon will need to do in order to pull the players they had before they were skimping on service.

Malaysia is a HUGE peninsular, Singapore is just a Little Red Dot of a island below Msia =) I live in Singapore. And Asiasoft holds events in BOTH SG and MY, as in, 1 in SG, 1 in MY. This happened for the MSEA 3rd Year Anniversary. I dont see any reason why Nexon America cant do the same, or are they just lazy? ;D

Some of Borneo is also Malaysian territory.

Either way, I wouldn't be able to participate in any of the said events, unless they also hold one in Australia.

I would assume you would be lazy too if you had to plan a real life event for an area of 7,648,151 square miles. This doesn't include the people that play from other countries. :/

Because we can all hop on planes to attend an event for a pixelated game
