Anime or Manga?

Which one do you prefer and why?
I personally prefer Manga over Anime coz mostly it's more in-depth than Anime and the fillers are annoying in the Anime.

Manga...I can imagine the voices, instead of hearing English actors dubbing it .

If it's in Japanese already, I still say the manga since it's normally farther ahead...

I really don't care as long as the plot has not been raped.

It doesn't matter to me, I enjoy reading and watch, so I guess it would really depend on my mood.

Anime. If I liked the anime enough, or heard that the anime brutally raped the original content of the manga [size="1"]like Claymore, or so I've heard[/size], then I'd possibly read the manga. [size="1"]I kind of want to read Kannagi, but I still haven't finished NaruTaru or NHK ni Youkoso! because of other things.[/size]

There's some unique anime-ish only things - Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann [size="1"]lol[/size], Noir, Mai-Hime, R.O.D. the TV [size="1"]since The Paper and the Paper Sisters never met in the manga and were completely separate stories[/size], and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha to name a few. [size="1"]But, if you want to be really, really technical, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha's season one characters were based off that Triangle Hearts eroge for the most part....[/size]

the story matters more to me than whether is anime or manga.

Some things are better in the manga version than the anime. Some animes can't be retold even remotely as well in manga form.

I've generally preferred manga since many anime I've seen that are based on manga (or light novels) have a lot of dead time.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumuya anime (probably butchered spelling) was presented in a much more aesthetically pleasing manner than the manga. Some of the reference jokes added in and Kon's first person narration was outstanding.

Some things in anime aren't available in manga that I liked: Kaiba (first four episodes).

Generally I like manga adaptations though such as: One Piece.

It doesn't matter as long both of them have good quality from all aspects!

Yeah, serious. Where's the visual novel option?! I love anime, manga and VNs, but I typically prefer anime the most.

Anime > VNs > Manga

However, the story is often the best in what type it originated in. Example: The Chaos;Head anime has nothing on the Chaos;Head VN. And there's countless animes that fail to live up to their manga version.

Manga is always ahead of the anime, I choose manga. Also, anime can ruin the voices of the characters for me, but anime has sound effects.

I enjoy both, but anime is more accessible than both novels (visual and light) and manga for me.

Though, if I want to skip a bunch of filler present in both adaptations, I'll go with manga since I read much faster than I watch.

yeah, I only watch them Japanese animes with subs.

i like anime. i only watched two and a half seasons things.
never read manga LOL

I have like 300-ish mangas now, I would never buy an anime..
I liked the Claymore anime a lot, now only if they would continue with it..
