It's not even just remixes. What the pineapple is with all genres of music now n days feeling like they HAVE to have some dubstep in their songs to be popular? You we're liked before just because dubstep is a up and rising genre doesnt mean people will stop listening to your pomegranate because you dont have any. Not even rating wise either.
Take HyunA's song Bubble Pop for example.. I like the song, and if it didn't have that 20 seconds or so of dubstep in the middle of it I'd probably fucking love it and listen to it a lot more.
But you are missing a giant point in your argument. Dubstep is not just...remixes. Sure there are some, and probably a good 40% of the songs out there are "remixes" done by amateurs. Most of the time I prefer music made by professionals, who do not typically produce a remix and would rather create a brand new song.
Not all dubstep is shit, it just depends on what YOU listen to. If you go listen to some...iono... Britney Spears dubstep... its probably going to be shit.

If people like it, that's their taste. It's fine if people hate it as well, as long as they don't belittle others for liking it (not saying you guys do, but a lot of other people sure do). I personally like the Zeldastep remixes (I even actually have them), but my musical tastes are very wide. A friend of mine hates most of my music, but I just shrug it off. To each their own.
