Good God this is troubling. I'm not on there but I know some people who are.

Which it seems I am too. Guess there goes my last bit of money for item locks...losing some of my equips would piss me off to no end.

Are we able to view the list to check for our names anywhere?

If you've had anything in MTS in the last six weeks just assume you're on the list.
Not like there's anything you can do whether you were or weren't.

This is quickly becoming FUD.

Assume your ID was leaked.
Take whatever precautions give you comfort.
Hope for the best because ultimately it's all on Nexon.
Your user ID alone won't let someone in to your account.

As long as you have a decent pass and PIC (that no one else knows or can easily guess/break) no one is getting in without outright breaking Nexon's security to do so.

Panicking is pointless right now because if you're vulnerable it's due to something completely out of your control and obsessing over what might go wrong is unhealthy.

My login ID has been smegaed in broa and bera a few months ago, and nothing happened to my account since then.

I wouldn't panic. Just do what eos said on the above post.

I'm going to presume that list most likely had the names from years ago's hacking incidents.

Probably a good time to update the old password and pic and email password. Love knowing
that my login is out there no matter what I do.

Why would they repeat themselves?
They've already stated it's not a risk, it's not a threat, it's not important.
Unless someone publics a password and PIC bypass they consider the issue closed and business as usual and everyone is freaking out over nothing.

Uhm, the list with 18899 ID's is out on the Nexon forums themselves for more then an hour now and that thread is still open... o.0

What I do ask myself is how anyone can search, gather and store 19000 ID's so fast? Do they have a private interface that connects to the MTS database and rips them all out? How do they do that so fast? I don't believe someone is typing a list of about 19000's ID's themselves manually...?!?

Neither me, nor my 2 sisters' are on that list. I guess it's a good thing we very rarely MTS anything.
