Tried to find a source on the Interbutts I could cite to support my specific claim, but couldn't. Watch CNN. You'll see it. There is no rule that says a person cannot cite a television program as a source.
Or if you refuse, then I challenge you to try to prove that Obama does not have a massive lead among Blacks. Any statistics you can find online will give Obama around 90% favor from Blacks MINIMUM. In fact, here is one I found in my search to support my claims. Each of those responses indicates a lead of 88%~93%, and 2 of them offer a source for their claims.

How many Black people would choose a person based on race rather than qualifications? How many White people would choose a person based on race rather than qualifications?
If Whites were as racist as you claim, McCain would have THE EXACT SAME kind of lead among Whites that Obama has among Blacks. Even among the states where McCain has his highest leads, I wouldn't think he leads by any more than around 60~70% among Whites.
Afrobean, I couldn't tell you what race is voting based on race more because I'm not just basing my thoughts off a few percentages. What I can tell you that in my opinion a person who is voting for McCain because they don't want a mixed man in the White House is certainly worse than a person who is voting for said person because they want to see a "first".
I'm sure my post contains a boatload of assumptions. You are smart enough that you don't need me to point them out and explain them.

It's 80% actually.
You know that CNN is biased XD.
The Associated Press Wrote:Blacks made up 55 percent of the voters in Saturday's contest, slightly more than turned out in the state's primary four years ago and by far their biggest share in any presidential contest so far this year. Obama won eight in 10 of their votes, with black men and women supporting the Illinois senator by about that same margin, according to exit polls of Democratic voters conducted Saturday for The Associated Press and the networks.
A biased source, but they did cite The Associated Press.

You know that CNN is biased XD. Are they? Some of the programming is (and it is clearly identified as being opinion-based), I'll admit, but simple fact reporting seems to not be unfair.

No I'm not missing the point. I'm well aware that there will be people voting for Obama purely cause he is black, just as I'm pretty sure there are people voting for McCain because he isn't. I've seen a lot of people throw the "your only voting for Obama because your black" card.
Like I said I think that radio piece more highlights some people blindly following a candidate than actually taking the time to read through the policies. It happens all the time in politics. It just seems like its being made more of an issue this election because it of the impact it might have.

"Oh and by the way, I was watching CNN earlier and they said Obama was favored 97% by Blacks. NINETY SEVEN PERCENT."
I would LOVE to see how and where they got that statistic.
"But that said, even that is a bad idea. It is not the government's job to give people health insurance, whether it be by forcing a universal system or if it's by giving checks to individuals to pay for health care. It is the government's job to protect the rights of it's citizens, and "insurance" is not a "right", nor would I even say that "health" is a "right"."
Works pretty well for Canada, and we got the best healthcare in the world short of India. You don't think health is a right? Thats rather pessimistic.

i heard about this, and what really sad is that it was a major city that it happened in, and New York of all places. It just goes to show that people mainly look at the cover of the book to decide wether or not they like the book.

So you might be able to find a larger sample of Americans who don't understand current events, but it's still a horrible sample of how educated people are. Wait...so you insults us for insulting Americans, then you go onto to say most Americans aren't that ignorant and stupid, but finish off by proving your ignorance and stupidity???
by god, that's a triple negative!!! O_O

I'm not disagreeing that there are definitely black people who are supporting him blindly. But if you went to a state (not to stereotype, but a southern state? not sure exactly where there might be a concentration of black dislike) and did this with McCain spouting some of Obamas policies, you would easily be able to generate the same results.
One of the worst offenders of blind support from what I've seen if Oprah. Obama could probably hand it a piece of paper he wiped his arse with and she would probably declare it to be a work of genius.
just a for reference piece, but i live in one of those southern states. there can be some of that sentiment here, but not much, not in any real sense. obama made a point of campaigning here earlier on this year, and he was met with resounding support. that was until 2 weeks later when something he said came back on him. he told the people here, that "the Appalachian mountains were the saudi arabia of coal", and that he will make sure we are developing our clean coal technology to see prosperity return to our area. less than 2 weeks later, when approached in ohio, biden in an interview, was asked about what their stance was on clean coal. he said that they had no stance. they didnt want approach it, and saw it as more of a waste of time.
i'm a mccain supporter simply because i disagree with him less than obama, and that is only one reason that i dont like obama.
something to note, after biden's statement, 1, senator, one house rep, and the governor of VA (all dems) came down on obama for playing at the political game of preaching one thing in one state, and the opposite in the next.
