Original League of Legends (LoL) Thread

I disagree with most parts of that build. I rush Catalyst, then get Mercury's Treads, then Chain Vest and Negatron Cloak, and then upgrade the Chain Vest to a Warden's Mail because it gives amazing stats for 650 more. My next item is an RoA but since I'm warding almost all game I don't always get to it. Thornmail is just a bad item because it makes people not want to chase you and the damage reflect is easily mitigated with lifesteal.

I disagree, I think that rushing RoA is important because it takes 10 minutes for it's stats to get full. Also the order in which I get my items after RoA and threads depend on the enemy team, I always check who's most farmed and most likely to carry if they aren't yet on a spree, I do take Armor first most of the time though, because the Merc threads already give me a little MR and my MR/lvl glyphs add some more, also armor allows me to tower dive more easily.

My preferred core on Singed is Cata> RoA, Merc Treads, FoN (Screw HP regen, dat movespeed! Hnnnnng)/Giant's Belt, Rylai's - in that order. If me or my team is rolling face and I'm not taking much focus, I will get Rylai's right after RoA. Your ult lasts an obscene 25 seconds, so you can pop that pomegranate and have it on the entire fight, clutch timing not necessary. There are a ton of games where I don't even need to get armor. I would only do a build like Ray's if I was getting stomped.

Solution to mana problems:
Do not poison minions pre-level 6 (when not under your own tower). It will push your lane during the only vulnerable part of your game. Go crazy once you have a catalyst.

Getting more CS than sivir because she was too harassed in top lane is priceless when I'm playing Soraka.

First ranked as Soraka, she's wayyyyy too awesome, hope she doesn't get a nerf bat soon.

Singed should have ghost teleport pretty much every game imo. Ignite is pomegranate for him; I'd understand flash or exhaust, but ignite? Lul.

Pick one between FH and Randuins; generally randuins is better because of superior recipe items.

FoN should be 3rd or 4th item.

800s, nothing at 800s makes sense. You're making the assumption there's a jungler when half the time there isn't.

So you're telling me that every top player who uses singed is bad, because they use Q in lane?

I've always rushed Cata -> RoA in every game I've played as Singed, it's more or less a staple item for him IMHO, same with Merc Treads. I've been using Ghost + Teleport for a few games, because it's great for split-pushing.

I use poison in lane as Singed, but that depends on a lot of factors. If the person can't last hit at turret very well, then that's a reason to Q, along with the fact that Singed is pretty much ungankable once he has ult, movement speed quints, tier 2 boots and ghost. Oh and not to mention the psychological factor that Q has on the enemy, forcing them to miss last hits or take the poison damage.

I usually only Q when I get pushed or when I'm free-farming. Helps with split-pushing and punching towers in the face.

Also what's with the massive Queue today? It's not Tuesday!

Always run ghost on singed. ALWAYS.

RoA is very useful on Singed. Probably the best.

Also, using poison in lane is generally a bad idea. There are many situations where it's not a bad idea; but there are more bad times than good.
Winning your lane? Stop using poison and zone.
Losing your lane? Stop using poison and let them push.

Or you could stop getting roa and get something actually useful like rylai's.

I very rarely see a Singed get Rylai's over RoA.
You're gonna have to further explain your reasoning.

You're not going to die either way and you do enough damage as the tank with either one. Might as well go for the one that's actually useful for the entire team.

If nasus is likely solo top DO NOT solo top.
He will free farm.

When I'm playing nasus at lvl 7 i can start ignoring poison and free-farming. (Much to the chagrin of my enemies later on )
