DualBlades and Horntail

So, I'm going to attempt to solo horntail for the card, and I have a couple of questions
1. What would be the ideal range I would need to comfortably finish within the timer?(assuming I have 30% boss)
2. Are there any spots I should stand in for maximum DPS?
Because, on every horntail run I've been on, I'm only able to hit one body part at a time. Is there a place I can stand with blade fury to hit multiple parts at once?

Also, what order should I kill the parts? :o

1. Not sure...but I'm guessing around 40k clean? I'm at 60k clean right now & I usually finish with like 40minutes left on the timer w/ only 30% boss & energizer+MW20. You should really consider cubing for 60% boss though...it'd help LOADS when you stack them together + FC and the current shadow partner quirk/glitch.
2. Preheads...self explanatory. Main map gets tricky.

And you REALLY don't want to attempt blade fury on HT....keep in mind that the only body parts that will attack you are the ones you piss off....you piss off a bunch of them = you die. What I do is legs>tail from L side>R wing>R arm>L arm>kill all the heads simultaneously (kill whatever isn't weapon cancelled).

And stock up on health boost pots b/c on my DB I noticed it was nearly impossible to be efficient in not dying w/o Hp washing x_X then again I never tried w/ health boost potions.

my current situation is

my range hits 39k clean (Still scrolling weapons) . I have 60% boss. And with decent hb, i have 10.2k hp.

O_o I'm pretty sure you'll be fine for soloing HT w/ your current equips. GL

You can solo with around 40k with 30%boss. You kill leg > tail > wing > arm > arm > heads. Pb will be used at all times unless you can tank tail and bf tail and leg's.
Make sure you have hero's will, and attack/agro some mob's so it can attack you while in sed.

For pre head's, if you're to close to head you will recieve a lag in skill's but PB will reach if you stand back some.

Hp required is about 10k for sed unless it's 1/1.
Bf doesn't have the reach to hit arm+wing or arm+wing+right head or left head+ mid head+

Currently, my range reaches about 37k with stew, so I guess I have a bit of upgrading to do first.
Also, how much does the tail hit? I know it one hits people, so I've never touched it or anything. I have around 9.5k HP with decent HB, is that good enough?

Pretty sure you can solo with that range. I have Weapon def 4219 Magic Def 3822 and tail does 9kish. It doesnt 1hko but if I get near poison and get hit, I will die.

Tail hits me for around 15k touch, but I have under 2k W.Def.

o_o w/ PB's horizontal range you should never even run into the tail

Even if you never touch tail, it will happen at time's if your to close.
