Hunter X Hunter with Spoilers

Seems manga came back today, I have yet to read it but we need a thread. It's from the same guy that made yu yu hakusho.

For the first page please use all spoilers when discussing late content, after when someone says new chapter, that same post should use a spoiler but after that post I won't use a spoiler for that same chapter at least, you all know this but I'm giving people time to catch up.

I've always meant to start reading the manga. Fucking loved the anime ;o

The fact that many of the recent chapters look like scribbles doesn't really help.

True. With the announcement of a new Hunter X Hunter anime, I was all set to forget the scribbles, hoping the new project would pick up where the OAVs left off. It turning out to be a remake caught me by surprise. I expecting it to follow what Inuyasha had done, and while the Fullmetal Alchemist set a precedent for reboots, it also told a different story in the latter half and concluded with a filler ending. The original Hunter X Hunter anime was done really well and didn't exactly conclude, so a remake wasn't necessary but I won't complain because it means my memory will be refreshed and it hints at the manga making some progress in the near future.

Hunter leaders explosion poisoned puff and youpi. Must be why youpi lost/died and puff is bleeding. Pretty epic lol.

I think...king will make a tradeoff and become nicer still...but the poison from the bomb will kill him or affect him later.

Just FYI I'm one manning this thread which is the reason I'm not editting. I don't want it to get removed as it's one of the 5 mangas in this section@@ But has slow plot development.

I think King Ant will win in the game, but he knows he's going to die sooo. Why can't he just die...

Wait, so...pufu's toxin made it's way into the king's body because he had to eat pouf and yupi? And it's that toxin that kills the king (and subsequently komugi) and that's how the arc ends?

Well, I think the king still breathed in that same toxic air. I'm sure he got some more poison from absorbing Pufu and Yupi's energy anyway, but still.

Killua is going for Leorio I bet. But I feel like Gon will walk away scot-free no injuries and still able to use nen. With that arm still..

Blind girl is pretty monstrous to keep up with the King's ridiculous superpowered mind.

I WISH he goes for leorio. If saving gon is supposed to be his (first) major role in the story and he turns out to be some crazy ass doctor with crazy ass nen abilities (unlikely since he wasn't really up to par the last time we saw him...) i might die.

Killua remains my favorite though.

Yeah Killua is the bomb, his lightning technique is cool.

Gon is kind of gay, all he can do are those three rock paper scissors weak ass moves.

I don't know I remember seeing Killua tell whoever that guy was to bring a team of doctors while he goes somewhere so it might be Leorio..But there will be more doctors...?

I bet he gives some of his nen up to bring Gon back/let him use Nen.

JAN KEN PON IS THE F'UCKING pomegranate. It's like the most versatile attack there is. It just sucks he can only effectively use rock/scissors because if he could throw in a projectile now and then he would be crazy in fights.

And yeah that's probably what he's doing. I just hope whatever it is he's doing is resolved fast so we can get back to some new enemy or see what gon can do with his new god powers.

That pomegranate was intense. Gin is one of those top twelve monster hunters lol. I like where this is going.
