Name change question

If you've changed your ign, is it possible to change it back to what it originally was after a certain amount of time? I'd like to change my ign from DrRusty bak to Meztizopogi, but the last time I tried to do it (8 months ago?) it wouldn't let me. I'd like to ask before I try and buy another name change.

Once you change your old IGN to a new IGN, that older IGN cannot be reused unless you delete your current character that the "old" IGN was originally given to, if that makes any sense.

Talking about IGN changes, how does that CS Name Change item work?

When you buy it and type in a name you want, does it check immediatly if the name is available (And when it's not, it's rejected)? Or can you enter a name and the name change is checked when a Nexon employee changes it during the next SC? Does anyone know how this works?

I've name changed 3 times. After you click "buy" you'll be prompted to select a new name. If it's not available or can't be used for some other reason, a message will tell you so. It's only after you've selected a name, verified it, and pressed "Yes" a billion times (I think it asks two or three times "Are you sure?") before the NX is charged. Then your name gets changed during the next Server Check.
