Consider a new player, a kid with very little knowledge of the game. His only source of meso is the copper coins dropping from mobs, and npc'ing item drops. He buys the weapons in the Vic shops, and then Orbis, and then... He's 50 and he has no way of getting level 50 gear. He goes in FM and sees stuff priced in the hundreds of thousands or higher (for his level) and he doesn't know how on earth he'll ever make that much money. Mommy's credit card to the rescue! Just go in cash shop and get millions and millions of meso with the click of a button! Thank you Nexon! So yeah, they fleece the ignorant.
