NexonAmerica will not delay an update like legend till summer of the next year. We would become one of the most outdates Maplestory versions with all this race they have.
We are getting Jump! Update really soon,perhaps in between september and october with the Thanksgiving events. and I believe they will be in chaos style. (Skill revamps, pq update, monster park, the rumored new PVP with some JMS content, the order may be different.)
But I'm really sure we are getting Legend Update this Christmas with Cannon Shooters in Mid December, Mercedes by christmas or a day later, and Demon in Slayers in January, sort of like Big Bang.
They wouldn't delay them that much, as most of you believe, as KMS is getting new content by the second.
