How funny it is , those "kids" whining at facebook group MapleStorySea ...

they claimed that if the GM did not satisfy their needs , they will rage quit.

But u know what,

in the end , they just continued to play lol.

What i can say is , i'm totally disgusted by the community we have over there , and i believed GMS side would be much better.

I'm from MapleSEA and... I love to see the comment on the facebook wall whenever there's a server check, maintenance or rollback. Epic win comments Smile
Most MSEA players are chinese, and would probably and a dialect language (hokkien/teochew/cantonese) ; forgive me if i'm wrong about those dialect.. I only speak a bit o_O
So they would usually just combine english and those dialects to form singlish..........

Lurker Wrote:just asking but whats so bad about maplesea compared to globalMS?
I don't know actually because when I was playing in GMS, people told me that MSEA has a much better community and customer service, Asiasoft > Nexon and so on.
Now, I'm back in MSEA, I heard everything otherwise. Still, I can confirm that MSEA have much lesser hackers, at least, not as much as we have in GMS and EMS.

You're referring to GMS and EMS too, right?
Maybe CMS as well.

On topic: I love to look at the comments on Facebook when I'm boring, they made my day whenever I need some entertainment.

BRB off to MSEA Facebook page.

Something I always liked about GMS is that most people at least try a crack at wit or a joke, it makes the situation (patch or maintenance delay, KS war, megaphone war, etc) a lot more humorous and entertaining. In MSEA it is really just a really huge mob of illiterates spewing thrash over the internet, like:

N1Telord NOOB kser gm pls ban tis DOG
OI GM OF D3M0NHeart GUILD TEACH UR D0G DUN KS N RAID MAP IN 2X
FK U GM NOOB SERVER SO LAG SO HACKER DUN BAN
xiao1Ce so hum off pm n scold mi? lai play mega la nub dog

Yes the only insults 95% of MSEA players know are "noob" and "dog", and don't ask me why "dog" is such a highly regarded insult.

Or MSEA facebook page's fans to be specific.
Blaming GMs for the lags or rollbacks is equal to putting "Ultima Flamethrower" in your wishlist if you're posting in ASF forum.

@Dean, I am and I'm pretty sure you know who I am.

Dean, I'm pretty sure that Katforks isn't exaggerating. People keep asking me 'wad u mean?' or 'your mean?' (your meaning?) when I talk like this in Aquila.

It happens very frequently during PQs. Try it- be as talkative as me, don't use Singlish, and see how they react.

I switch around Singlish/English depending on who I'm speaking to. If the other party's already using Singlish, I'll just follow along Rolleyes

Yeah, that works- but not entirely. It gets frustrating when you use a word like 'consequence' or 'entail' in the middle of your sentence, Singlish or not, and they still don't understand.

lmaoooo, i use english most of the time but i add lah or leh abit. i guess its because my guild is full of foreigners from au/us and well-educated singaporeans/malaysians... except for a few...

But honestly speaking, i dont find singlish hard to understand at all... its hard to type out a long sentence with the character limit, when you can just use singlish to type out 3 words and still have the same meaning.

Sad to say that most Singaporeans do not use proper english in conversations unless in a formal setting. Singlish is rampant everywhere but is understandable in Singapore itself. But I wouldn't even consider the stuff you read in the MapleSEA FB page as english or even Singlish. All that is a bunch of random crap strung together and posted by angry people who fail to think before they post. Have to admit most are kind of hilarious. Hahaha.

But we can all safely blame singlish for singapore's bad english. it influences our english, you know...
