I find it cool that the latest chapter was titled Death & Strawberry 2. It's kind of like the second beginning of the series, can't wait to see what happens next. Thank god I have the amazing ability to not question random pomegranate happening in manga.

Remember back to when this last arc started? I think that when we watched Orihime eat doughnuts, that was pretty freakin random, but to each his own.

Sharing doughnuts made that redhead say something to envy orohime = redhead had a troubled past she can't laugh off like orohime.

If that develops, good. If they don't bring it back up, worthless space of donuts.

I don't know how Kubo does it, but he somehow makes something longer seem shorter. This week's chapter had 18 pages (not including the Cover, the mangastream ad, and the fan colouring) compared to Naruto which had 15. Anyways, I think this arc may end soon? I hope?

Also, Hitsugaya has a muffler now =D

I doubt this has anything to do with Rukia's reiatsu.

Here is what I think is going on: The only way to give Ichigo back his powers is through his death. Isshin was well aware of Ichigo's dying desires (lolpun) for protecting everyone dear to him, so he talked to Urahara about it, and this one told him about this method, hence why he said doing so would change Ichigo's life forever and the gloomy faces. On the other hand, Soul Society is well aware of Ichigo's abilities, (The captain of the medical squad said that Ichigo had twice the reiatsu of a current captain before even using The final Getsuga) and because his colaboration on defeating Aizen, they decided to recruit him as an official shinigami.

Who knows, maybe Ichigo can make it to Captain considering his previous strength and the fact that Soul Society is lacking captains. And also now he can actually end up with Rukia if they both are death.

I gotta give credit to CommaderJim for predicting the way to give Ichigo his powers back was by giving him reiatsu. Although I think that is just dumb... really, I know Kubo wanted to put this as a "second start" but just ichigo becoming a Shinigamy again was enough, everything didn't need to be just like in the beggining.

And well, it is obvious that Soul Society needs Ichigo. This time, it was most likely an order from Yamamoto (or w.e) to help Ichigo recover his powers, otherwise we wouldn't see someone like Byakuya lending his reiatsu for Ichigo (Heck, all the people in that picture got too much pride to give Ichigo a handshake)

Edit: Considering the five characters in that one big page, It would be cool if Renji and Ikakku are now Squad Captains (even if they don't look like one) as they are the only lieutenants with a Bankai... but yah Kubo wouldn't dare to implement any changes to the story

This please. Kubo is going to have to take up 10 pages just to contain Ichigo's badassery. It's getting to the point where we are running through baddies faster than Kubo can create them. Waiting for Aizen to pop back into the story.

An interesting thing to think about, Rukia claims that the bonds can be rebuilt, if that's the case, what if this "past change" was intentional to kill off this love triangle and leave ichigo only to choose rukia?

So I take it you mean between Ichigo, Rukia, and Orihime. I think they should just have a threesome and get it over with. Back on topic, I don't think it was intentional, but there is clearly something sketchy going on behind he scenes. Also I swear to god if next chapter Ichigo just kills both this arcs baddies in 1 go and we never see them again, I'm going to be pissed.

As long as Ichigo has some form of his fullbring retained from this arc, I'm okay with anything else that happens. Otherwise, it's entirely pointless, and only serves to create angst.
