I'm not a fan of Hussie's work. His comics are funny and he does crank out some really epic-feeling stuff, but his pacing and sense of story development is just awful. With both Problem Sleuth and Homestuck, he started out with a simple world and zoomed out, creating universes and parallel universes and writing in tons of characters and subplots with each progressive expansion. It's a cool concept, but it makes the plot extremely convoluted and forces readers to jump back to catch up on much earlier content. Lord of the Rings was easier to keep track of. Homestuck was supposed to run for a year. I followed it for about a year and a half and it wasn't even close to coming to a conclusion. He can't control himself.
