People like Deidara could just explode everything around them every second while walking just because their body and chakra is getting repaired anyway, yet this page says otherwise: http://manga.animea.net/naruto-chapter-526-page-14.html . Regardless edo tensei has a lot of controversial things that are likely just made for the plot.

He couldn't use any of his techniques while he was still captured. Raiton doesn't stick around forever and I don't really think that Hanzo of all people with zero sensor feats would be able to tell that this chakra was disrupted by raiton and thus doesn't have the ability to use explosives. I however do think that he's skilled enough to be able to tell when someone is almost out of chakra. Not to mention that this 'weak spot' of Deidara was only figured out by sasuke who just happens to have the sharingan that saw he used earth seals and even then he still had to test the theory that raiton rendered him useless. What I'm meaning to say by this is that it perhaps isn't common knowledge that blast element users weak spot is raiton.

Actually Deidara was part of another hidden Village. The hidden cloud is Raikage's village while Deidara comes from the Tsuchikage's.

And I don't think you need to be a sensor in order to see that there are swords charged with raiton sticking into a container that's being loud and obnoxious to know that Deidara can't do anything. Raiton infused swords glow.

Have you forgotten what this argument is about? I argue that Deidara is out of or at least low on chakra and I've the 'you can't do anything' comment of hanzo to support it, while you say that he was out of explosives or at least rendered useless by raiton chakra. But that makes no sense as we've seen he was able to self destruct by the comment of Deidara which said that he should have self destructed and hanzo's comment is directed at deidara who wants to be freed. Hanzo basically says he'll be useless so he's not going to bother freeing him. And it was Hanzo one of the edo tensei's to make that comment and not one of the joint shinobi army, so I don't really get your first sentence.

?Naruto has been a good guy since before shippuuden, but that people admire him didnt happen till after his fight with nagato. And itachi was dead by then :/

People were admiring him before that, for example, there were a bunch of reaction shots when jiriya died of people in konoha being worried for naruto. Plus, that respect wouldn't have come out of nowhere, I think it's fair to say they've been admiring him since at least the first arc of shippuden, if not beforehand.

No, the admiration wasn't made completely obvious to Naruto until Nagato. Naruto was respected by the time they fought the akutsuki that killed asuma. It's also been clear that Itachi has been spying on the village during that time frame. In fact I think it was established of Itachi's perspective of naruto considering he trusted him with sui's eye
