That's what I am assuming is going to happen, but you never know....

As far as I know, it's just a 1 point skill that you get from the Cross Hunter (Silent Brigade Crusade) quest line. Not sure how it's all going to work in GMS.

I personally believe other versions will get Cross Hunter since it is related to Akyrum. The storyline is completely different than Silent Crusade and the Black Magician plays a role in the Cross Hunter story.

Keep the same names and say that they had to move on to investigate strange incidents? Isn't that what they do? Check out the boss monsters and keep them in check?

Yes, but the overall storyline is different (and the founder doesn't actually betray anyone in cross hunter. Akyrum possesses him and makes him fight you.) and having two of the same NPC's doing different things could be disastrous.

Neo City* Neo Tokyo is the awesome, or rather, shadow of its former glory, from JapanMS. Neo City is the knockoff from KMS that we got.

They could always just change the dialogue before the boss battle so that it could sync up with the Cross Hunter storyline at the end, or make it so that the Silent Crusade story switches to the Cross Hunter story and make the entire Crow/Starling tsundere romance crap happen as part of a side story and change the betrayer's identity. There are all sorts of ways to make the two work together, I just pray to God that it's JMS who does the work on it.

I'm sort of worried about this now that I'm sort of realizing how these sync up. If nothing else, GMS is gonna have to do something about these shoulderpads being like the silent crusade ones, only without the ability to be potentialed.
