[KMS] [1.2.139] Akyrum, Aran & Evan skill changes
#41
My guess is that they buffed his damage as a way to keep first-day kills (or solo kills for that matter) from occurring - kMS is powerful, so they don't want to make Akyrum look like a sissy.

I was thinking the high phisical damage was not a big problem if the party was able to keep it pinned on the corner, but I just realized his snake throw attack is considered a phisical attack. Notice how the mage got a 56k hit from it at 2:20. this boss will be nearly impossible for ranged classes.

Just because a handful of people got the resources to HP wash their chars all they want doesn't mean everyone does. Besides we shouldn't be required to spend thousands of NX to be able to fully enjoy this feature of the game (In this case, boss fights).
That 56k hit was damage reflect

His Physical Attack is only 30k.
That means he can't possibly hit more than 30k with a Physical Attack.

The snake-throw is a rather ridiculously ranged attack, but it's slow enough that you should be able to hop (or teleport) back before it hits you.

Those snake men that Akyrum summoned.

Only a mage can hurt them because they have 99% PDR.

There are classes besides mages that have an ignore PDR skill?

Looks like ranged attackers will have to find a way to stay behind him.

hello, i'm a DrK, and i don't give a fk.

or so i think, with the huge amounts of PDR ignoring abilities around, i was surprised they were hitting 1's during the run, hmmm..

and meta, they have 99% PHYSICAL damage reduction, magical is like 30% i think

So do Dark Timer, Zeno, and Deo have to do with Silent Crusade and Akyrum?

Crosshunter*
Basically you need to do the Crosshunter quests (Which yes, involve those bosses you listed) to enter the past portal, to get to Akyrum.

It'll always be Silent Crusade to me, since that's the GMS name, and I see. Thanks for the answer.
Makes me wonder how this will work in GMS.

There is no reflect icon or animation on Akyrum from the moment they go back in at 2:10 to the moment they die, while at the same time both characters die the exact instant Akyrum throws his snake's bite on them.

The higher than normal damage could be due to a buff casted by himself or his summons, there are a few unknown skills listed here that could have this effect.

The arrow skill that he uses increases the damage you take, and stacks up to 3 times.

Can anyone read Korean well enough to explain the changes to combo critical, smart knockback, high defense and combo tempest?

Edit: Why does it say the final blow hitbox was changed when the two values are the same?

Neat. That's better than I thought. Do you have any more information on regained memory, namely how hard it is to get and if you need to put points in it?

As far as I know, it's just a 1 point skill that you get from the Cross Hunter (Silent Brigade Crusade) quest line. Not sure how it's all going to work in GMS.
