Emergency Upgrade
#21
Ok apparently they replaced the link with a variable that didn't exist. Weird.

Ugh. 25 more files to go and then the manual re-codings of stuff I can remember we lost, like PM limit increases.

I am pooped, I think I got all the critical stuff so off to bed so I can be bright eyed and bushy tailed to for my AC install and I can continue working on this during that.

Reply UI is horrible and makes me want to punch a kitten, Auto-Save will surely come in handy at some point. So confused.

Anyway, when, if ever, will you know for certain if whoever did this got what they were going for?

List of things I've noticed during browsing:

Paper icons beside threads
Sticky note icon beside sticky
No list of online users

How do you ever know if someone else knows something else for sure?

Eos implemented a new feature that saves what you write as you write it and sends it to him. This way, if you're a potential trouble-maker and write a flame-filled post but don't actually post it, he can ban you anyway. It will just prevent future disruptions.

He is the thought police. Big Brother is watching you.

meh, forgot the update overwrote that too. Fixed (Although that's not technically what it does. It takes you to your home, which is the portal or the forum depending on your own settings).

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS.
It's so much easier to browse when it goes to the portage rather than the forum.

...still not fixed for me.
EDIT2: lol, thought you said you had fixed that. whoops.
EDIT3: okay, you did say that, and it's not fixed. I gotta get my eyesight checked.

You know there's the "what's new" button that is one click shorter than going to the portage every time right?

Yes, but whenever I type in http://southperry.net when I get on my computer, it takes me to the forum, not the homepage, and there's not a login box (that has my stuff saved) on that screen to my knowledge. Annoys me.

I am liking the change, but am disliking what caused it to happen.

Good job by being on it, though.
