Original Dragon Nest Thread

It's not that unexpected. I see messages about people selling these epic necklaces and earrings with current offers of like 3k+ gold on a regular basis here in Velskud.

I wonder how much more I could have gotten for that epic necklace I got last week... Something like Intellect/Vitality +25 along with HP/MP +500 or something like that. I sold it for 500 gold when I noticed that there weren't any others on the marketplace, but now that I think about it, I could have probably sold it for about three times that. :/

Anyone else having trouble connecting? I hang after character selection.

Everyone and their mom is on right now. So it's pretty hard to get on and stay on, especially in Carderock Pass.

I believe everyone does. I've pretty much done all quests on my Priest and Sharpshooter, and I haven't noticed any dialouge changes between the classes, as far as I remember. Not even for the quest where Tiana asks you to rescue the Sorceresses from the Silent Cloister.

(She says that it would be really bad if the Clerics were to find out that there were Sorceresses there, nevermind the fact that she's asking a Cleric to rescue them. Then again, the Cleric's story involves him being discharged from the Order (so that he has the freedom to investigate, or something like that) as soon as he finds out about Rose, so...)

I'm just looking for crudes to enhance the crap out of my blue border gear that i now have...

P.S. Trying for the Urban Hipster title- any tips on getting the master of dodging one done? And the many 50+ combo achievements? I'm having a lot of trouble doing that cause I kill them too fast (yes i strip my character)

Use skills that multi-hit. For my acrobat, I think it's willow kick (you spin and kick a lot). It's weak but racks up combos fast.

Another strategy is just regular attack stuff for combos. Just be wary if you get hit, you'll lose the combo.

Only other thing I can suggest is to make sure you lure everything together if there are mobs nearby. I think only one of them gave me a lot of trouble (marrion hall maybe? It required 30 or 50 combo and I got +1 more than needed)

Just remembered, one other way to reduce your damage is to make your durability 0. Also go grab the crappriest lowest level weapon from your main town to lower it even further.

@The SS soloing minotaur: His range is 1802 or 1804 or something like that. He put up a video of his range. As for his HP, when I was watching it I swore it looked only around 12k, but I didn't pay much attention to it. It's not uncommon to have 40-50k hp though once we get level 40/50 cap.

lol maybe down the line. I think I'll just settle for suicidal since it's my weekly title thing >.> 6 more assassin's dens to go... (just assassin's den cause i can solo in like 10 minutes compared to the 20 it takes me for forest sanctuary).

I've been hearing a lot of people discussing about the minimum crit you need to have to hit crits 95% of the time for certain leveled monsters. Does anyone have any info about this? I think I read someone saying that a person needs to have around 3k crit at lvl 24.

so lucky I did the dungeons for like 13 days and i didn't get anything T.T

Oh cool, got the wings on my Sorc today. Also leveled the guild up to 5 (thanks Holypie!).

Anyone wanna be my friend in Velskud for when pvp comes out etc etc. I only have like 2-3 ppl and they seem to be inactive atm (since they're waiting for updates and what not)

The people over on china DN are pretty much the same as the joetang and co. people of southperry in terms of game mechanics and analyzing everything.

do weekly achievements reset on Saturdays too? I needa do 3 more dungeons on abyss for the Suicidal title :C

Almost managed to solo the Minotaur Nest boss, Shinku as my witness. That was quite a fight, but I was losing the battle of attrition. Ah well, was fun!
