I find the video to be really interesting, but I have no idea what's going on.

Also, this is my least favorite song off the album.

I LOVE this video. It's as avant-garde as she could make it without being over the top, while mixing it with classic Americana vibes for an interesting taste (I describe it as "Alexander McQueen goes to Kansas). Definitely love the song even more because of this.

And the guy working on her in the barn is HOT.

Maybe it was both of your least favorite off Born This Way, but it was one of the most popular in terms of radio plays and digital downloads (along with Born This Way, Judas, and The Edge of Glory). So that's why she made a music video. Notice the trend? Music videos are made for the most popular songs off albums.

I absolutely love this video and it is one of my favorites of hers, along with Paparazzi and Judas.

the video is about a guy who’s trying to change her, but instead of actually changing, she becomes better/”more magical” than she was before. Lady Gaga is the woman and the artist she is today because of Lüc Carl. His persistent bullshit and negative attitude is what pushed her and made her want to become what she is today. Some might say that Jo is playing Lüc, and in a sense that is true, but the guy messing with her in the barn is who I think is personifying Lüc. He is “operating” on her, injecting her with fluids, and treating her like an experiment. Because of his experimentation (Lüc’s bullshit), Gaga becomes the “perfect bride,” AKA the amazing woman she is today.
