Meso bags in the CS

TaiwanMS has had meso bags for quite awhile now. Here are pics of the prices of ilbis. These were taken like a month or two ago, they're actually cheaper now the last time i checked. I'm not sure if this is a cause of meso bags. =/

They don't have Crystal Ilbis, though at this point I'm not sure if there are any itcg materials anymore.

It depends where you buy it. Most users on AiJMS sells 1k NP for less than $10, but if you use a service such as WebMoney, they usually charge higher than $10, more likely around the $11-12 region for 1k P.

Heh, this might be good for me to unload the 100s of scrolls I have left on my acc. I just need to get rid of em all so I can sell my mesos.

well, think of it this way, because the exchange rate for $:meso will be so high, it is no longer profitable/less profit for the meso farmers that use hacks on your maps so it can possibly decrease the amount of meso farmer hackers that sell mesos for $

Erm... a lot of people are overreacting about this.

I've even seen people mention right there in their post, "Well, MTS and Gachapon make so and so more money", um, hello?

Yes, it's instant cash. But unless you're in a situation where you need instant cash, such as needing quick money to buy an item in the FM, or a few extra bucks for your soon-to-obtain Z-Helm, no one's really going to buy them.

If people can get more bang for their buck through MTS and Gachapon, I think they'll go for it, instead of spending 500 NX per 1 mil. Besides, think about it, since the last time Meso Bags were in the CS, many new items have been added to all the Gachapons, and the MTS has grown more popular amongst users. You really aren't going to see a drastic change because of these items, or so I think. I mean it's just really... illogical that these would cause that big of an uprise.

I remember when I played a year or two ago, everything was CHEAPPPPP. I'm pretty sure Ilbis were <10mil at the point. And there were meso bags. =/

Exactly my point. The Meso Bags aren't gonna hit us hard in any sensitive spots.

I personally prefer an MTS-style bartering system that allows you to put up another item instead of NX.

Mesos are only good for pots,100% scrolls, quests (showa 5 mill quests), 4th job (Buying scrolls worth 10 mill), NPC armor, and the tame-able hogs and dragons. Thats it. Now if more scrolls and more armor were able to be obtained from the NPC for meso, now there is a better use for a meso bag.

Meh, you could get 2-3 times as much mesos buying from a 3rd party site. Haven't the bags been in the data for well over a year now?

I predict the meso will become nearly worthless, used only for buying things from NPCs, and trading will be done through MTS or on a barter basis: Items for items.

Why? Meso farmers will have to ensure their prices are less than the official meso price, unless they want their only customers to be those who can't get Game Card Cash and must use PayPal. The cheaper they get, the less they are worth (duh), and it will soon mean nothing to have 2 billion because the only things you'll be able to buy with them will be potions and equipment for levels 40 and below.

I think you're right about this. The reason why is because also think of the two other amazing features of maple story we'll be getting soon. Monster Book and Maker Alchemy Skill. The Monster Book will make it easier to locate items and equips that someone would want to hunt for. The Maker Alchemy Skill will allow players to just make what ever kind of equips anybody might want whether for themselves or to trade off for other things. Thus really with all these things combined plus the over inflation of prices for items because of the CS Money Bags, Meso's will be worthless making the only solid currency in Maple NX. So for a while I expect that everything with meso's will come to a stand still until Monster book and Alchemy comes out. Items for Items, NX for Items, Items for NX, Mesos = Dead Currency.

The first time they released the meso bags, I was one of the doomsayers. I put all my pure mesos in ilbis and steelies. I hadn't realized that you can get a much better conversion ratio using MTS. Several weeks later, I was able to sell the ilbis and steelies for about 5% more than I paid. That was probably normal market fluctuation rather than real inflation.

I think youre all over reacting, you get way more meso for your buck from gacha and iTCG, these meso bags are just instant gratification, with a ridiculous tax off for convinience...

Back in iTCG set one a friend of mine got a booster box for 100 dollars and made about 1 billion mesos from it... 1 dollar = 10 mil > 1 dollar = 2 mil.

I think this is a very blatant over reaction. If it does do serious damage to the economy, i'm sure Nexon will remove them again.
