Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 General

I think you guys are severely overestimating how much the buster shot getting changed from a hard to soft knockdown is going to affect Zero. He just won't be able to OTG after a buster shot anymore. That doesn't mean that he can't hit them while still in the air, and the shot appears to still pop the character up a bit in the air on hit.

Basically level 3 shot>down teleport>super is the only thing that comes to mind that won't work still, as that's the only time Zero players actually OTG off a buster shot. The only other time I could think OTGing off it would be useful is if you land a random buster shot up close, then you could do his jump OTG and call an assist and get a combo off that.

As long as there weren't any changes to Zero's hitstun scaling, even goofy stuff like this should still work

You won't be able to level 3 buster> raikousen combo, which was pretty much the standard bnb for zero. Pretty big change imo. His damage does seem to be better on his basic attacks, though.

Niitsuma said they originally wanted 58 characters in UMvC3 but couldn't due to time constraints. In other words, even though all the new characters for UMvC3 have been leaked (and officially confirmed but not yet officially revealed), it means there will most likely be plans for more DLC. Wouldn't let your hopes die just yet, but I wouldn't wanna bring them up either. Pretty sure the reason Megaman isn't in yet is because they wanna cash in by making him included in the first DLC pack or something. That is, if they even still plan to do DLC characters. Really wondering who those other characters they had planned were going to be.

But don't expect any news on female characters. Unless Capcom wants to pull a surprise "CHECK OUT THESE DLC CHARACTERS WE ALREADY HAVE PLANNEDA FEW MONTHS BEFORE THE GAME IS EVEN RELEASED" card again, yo won't be seeing news on any potential new females for a while.

Strange looks like he'll be serious trouble. He's like Phoenix and Magneto fused together. Looks like he'd be absolutely scary in the right hands. And like someone on the page pointed out, Nemesis reminds me of Q with a rocket launcher.

I kinda agree with the majority. I don't think they're considering assists for the voting. I kinda agree that Tron needs minor buffing, she can only get in on people that don't block and is easily kept away. I suggest they make her Servbot shot faster and make them hit longer, so she can at least zone.

Now I REALLY can't wait for the reveal of Phoenix Wright.

So, in Ultimate, everyone's getting two more "costumes" (palette swaps), making it a total of 6 per character. They've also said that each character will have an alternate model (as DLC).

I'd like to see more DLC costumes, but watch all my favorite characters get their DLC costumes last.

Hobo Phoenix Wright will be awesome though. If they don't make that his DLC skin I'll be pretty butthurt. In fact, putting this suggestion in unity box right now.
