nah i think I'll keep the original DS still. Too good a deal with the R4 flashkart, especially since it basically allows you to do whatever the hell you want with your DS.

I have a flash card on my DSi XL too. It's really nice, but it still can't run 3DS games. I figure it's worth it since I'd probably want some of those 3DS games eventually.

Strange... When I went to go take a picture of it, I checked the "News" section of the e-Shop and... the notification was nowhere to be found. Where the hell did it go? O_O

That's bizarre. I can't check until later tonight because I have to go stand in the stairwell to steal signal and last night I got caught and scolded by an old man who thought I was planting a bomb or something. I was pretty suspicious so I don't blame him.

Seems like they might have removed the notices, though. Not sure why.

Well, here's hoping I got the "notification" thing on my 3DS eShop, because there's no freaking wireless signal out here in Hawaii, that's not protected, that's accessible through my 3DS, nor PSP, so I've been SoL for nearly 2 weeks in trying to check for stuff!

That's some really good offers but my old DS system has too much sentimental value to me :[

I'll buy a 3DS around xmas i suppose, should be some nice games that i'm interested in by then.

Would trade in my DS lite but I need it for gameboy advance games I own and believe my older one has a messed up L button and to continue this run on sentence my regular DS's hinge is screwed up and the back light is kind of lame.

Else than that started playing cave story will probably buy the 3DS version sometime whenever I do get a 3DS...8bit like graphics actually cause me to get headaches and a portable version would be nice.

So, my copy of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon doesn't work on my 3DS.

Thing is, i bought it from Ebay, and investigating the contents of the box made it seem kind of pirated (the instruction booklet has no instructions, just a few pages of what i would expect to see in some kind of pre-release leaflet)

The sticker on the cart says its USA, but then i thought it was only 3DS games that were region blocked and not DS ones, so i can only assume its some kind of flashcart which 3DS doesn't like.

I just got a Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program news letter.

Nintendo 3DS customers who performed the latest system update or connected to the Nintendo eShop before 11:59pm Eastern time on August 11, 2011 were automatically registered in the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program.

During the week of August 15th, Nintendo will launch a website that will allow customers to enter their Nintendo 3DS serial number to check their Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program eligibility. Once the website is live, you will receive a message with the link.

Starting September 1st, 2011, Ambassadors will be able to download 10 NES™ Virtual Console™ games at no charge from the Nintendo eShop. By the end of 2011, Nintendo will also provide Ambassadors with 10 Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games. To download these games, Ambassadors will need to connect* to the Nintendo eShop. We will be announcing more information and instructions for how to download them soon.

*Wireless broadband internet access required.

No information about that rumor of the Ambassador program being extended. Maybe that was only for Australia. *shrugs*


Also, I wish there was a way to transfer my Nintendo Wii Virtual Console points to my Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. >_> I have like $40 left of points on my Wii and I want to get Link's Awakening DX on my 3DS, but I have no way to charge it. :<
