It's that time again.
After seeing a lot more of it in streams, bloodfury renekton looks a lot better than I previously thought in game. I'm really tempted to buy him, but I hardly play renekton anymore. I really wish he could jungle so I had some more incentive to pick him in terms of viability, and availability (in terms of what my team needs).

@ Kaj: I don't have anyone else to play with when I have time to play  . And for Skarner, there may be a few bugs that might be overlooked; it will be fixed next time around provided that other players have noticed the same problem as you too.

So that Skarner easter egg referencing pogeymanz does exist. However, of all the times I've attempted it, it's only appeared twice. Me thinks it's a random idle animation that only plays while you're in the grass.
More notes from the field:
--In looking at Rageblade, Nashor's Tooth, and Trinity Force, I'd have to say Trinity Force would be the general purpose core item for Skarner if you want any semblance of DPS. Unfortunately, it is expensive, but at least its components still have their own perks. Rageblade is still cool, but due to how the game evolves, there's probably not enough time to get both Rageblade and Trinity Force; you must build tanky if you want to survive future team fights and contribute something other than a corpse. Nashor's Tooth just causes you to exhaust your mana even faster, and is probably not worth it.
--With regards to Skarner's mana problems early game, this can be remedied somewhat with Philosopher's Stone. That thing has semi-beast mana regen, gives you the HP regen to help shrug off harassment, and +gold/10 income. Just wait it out until you get to higher levels, where your mana problems kinda go away, especially if you get an item or two that uses Sapphire Crystals.
--Played smart, and with the help of his lane partner, Skarner can screw up his laning opponents at level 1 if he can slow-lock. Combine this with an early Exhaust, and you have the potential to get First Blood. Of course, this is much easier said than done, especially with Flash being a popular escape. Something tells me this could be true for a lot of other champs though...
--E (Skarner's heal) is actually very useful in lane sustain. Does good damage against creeps, makes for an okay poke, and can potentially 2-shot minion waves assaulting your tower with the help of Q with Sheen. Max W if you're expected to face against champions. Every damage your shield absorbs is damage you don't take. Leave Q at level 1 if you like taking Sheen. Leveling Q for damage fails compared to Sheen's procs, and Q should be used to slow-lock people you want to die, as well as supplying Sheen procs.
--You'll definitely need finesse with Q and E if you want to succeed. Q has a really short range, and in fact has the same range as R. In order to maximize your gains in kill time (that is, the time the champ you're trying to kill has before he reaches safety), it is best to hit them or a minion with Q before you use R, then hit them again with Q after R wears off.
--Skarner's 1v1 potential is better than most champs, but don't expect to win over champs like Xin Zhao everytime. In team fights, Skarner fails, though he could possibly initiate by being a speed demon and drag someone to their doom. Ignoring the issue of knowing who is where in the jungle, Skarner does this quite well. It really sucks if you've latched onto someone with an AoE ult centered on them though, like Kennen, Wukong, Fiddlesticks, etc.

So I was think we should try a novelty team sometimes guys, based off the game I had last
night with claw and kaj is where I got the idea. Because kaj would ulti someone and drag them to me (fiddles)
and alistar. After suppression was over the enemy got pulverized and headbutted towards me, who then
silences and fears said enemy exactly opposite the direction he'd ever so love to get out from.
So how about a team "Get over here!"
Blitzcrank (grab them and knockup) He can be a melee DPS very easily.
Alistar (knock up and punt backwards) AP
Singed (flind them backwards) AP/Tank
Fiddles (fear them backwards) AP mid or jungler.
Tristana (who can RJ into Buster shot backwards). AD ranged carry.

Fear causes the enemy champion to walk randomly afaik. Sub Urgot in there, make Blitz AP (because AP + HP items are common), and you might have a better team comp, while maximizing the distance one can move an enemy champ.

My thoughts on new panth:
Q: I like the change because I get the full scaling at lvl 1, since even before the changes I only put one point in it at lvl 1 and levelled it last. Also, it can mini-crit with my passive now, which makes up for the lost .2 scaling
W: Now has full stun duration at lvl 1, but nerfed stun duration, cooldown reduced. I levelled this at level 2 and maxed it second, but it doesnt seem as usefull anymore to max it. Maybe ill get an order for q+w eventually. its cool that the stun is increased untill lvl 8, when its tied but with a better cooldown. The stun length doesnt bother me that much, because it was more of a gap closer to me than a stun.
E: Now scales on bonus ad, making panth more item-dependent; this is good because I usually got 10 kills before 25 min. also, ad scaling doesn't scale with level anymore and scales on .6*3 rather than .4*5. Even though the overall scaling went down, the new e is better IMO because its only 3 strikes, so more will actually hit. Especially since the w stun got nerfed, fewer strikes is more important. Also, the cooldown went down, so I may be able to use it twice!
R: The big change. Super-nerfed range from global to barely 1/3 of the river length, however does more damage and works faster. Instead of using it to aid other lanes and have a free train ticket to the fights, its more for moving around when fights scatter, and even can be used now as an escape. Since he falls 25% faster too, enemies can't ghost/flash out anymore  . Sadly, I won't be able to doublekill top lane then ult mid/bot for an assist/kill anymore...
Overall: he can now use his skills twice in battles, has more consistent burst damage and doesnt rely heavily on level anymore, more on items. This means panth can snowball better(!) and isnt as useless lategame because of a high base value on hss letting him actually get survivability items without losing out crazily on damage. Have even LESS reason to build crit/as on him, I'll have to play more games

I've seen this team setup (similar) in a video that I shared with you guys a couple of weeks back. Its doable, and it'll be tons of knockup fun. xD
And whoever is messing with the link I posted (and the thread title itself): it's getting very, very annoying to the point I will do something about it. Can you for God's sake NOT change the effing thread title every time me or someone here shares new content to everyone here and make it sound like its the most important damn effing thing in the world? Frankly speaking, hyping it past the "Ok we know and get it" point just becomes "I don't give a damn about how much you're hyping it now. Please stfu"

I really like new Morgana. Last hits so much easier, and her Ult pops the stun much faster.
Went mid and went 4/2. Got 2 good ults off, but we still had to surrender. Jungler never got any successful ganks, and top got murdered 2v1.

It was funny the first time, but it gets annoying over time. It bothers me because I'm really used to seeing "Leaguge of Legends" in the "What's new" thing, and when the title is different, it's not as easy to spot.

Oh boy just had such a fun ranked as Ashe. Our jungle Rammus was very good and I was mid against Ryze so I just stuck to outfarming him. Eventually when ganks started coming around I was usually safe and only died once in the early game. Our GP at bottom lane was killing Cho and Xin left and right, was about 5/0/1 when mid game began. Eventually I got farmed enough to start going for kills and once I began I just snowballed. Hit so many good arrows, kited their whole team like crazy. Their team kept overextending trying to kill me and I repeatedly just kited them while Rammus came in from behind and taunted them. Once I was pushing top turrets and Udyr came up from behind me to stun me (he stacked a couple Zeals to outrun me) and GP ulted and I killed Udyr. With about 1/4 health, I see Singed coming in from behind but I just kite him and kill him. Dat Ashe. Final score 12/6/24.

Seeing how their ONLY... and I mean ONLY defensive item is 1 pair of LOL SHOES.... I woulda gone with the axe, i forget it's name.... the one that reduces def by 15, stacks 3 times, instead of LW. But that's just me.
