With some skills bound to be replaced, will it be a one-for-one swap, thus the new skill will be at the level of the skill that existed before it? Eg. Hamstring will be replaced with Illusion Step, so if I have maxed Hamstring before Jump!, will I have maxed Illusion Step when Jump! hits MSEA? I hope some KMS players can enlighten me on this.

You don't need KMS players, they did the same thing during Chaos.
Yeah, it'll be a straight swap, if they do it the same way as they did for DB's/Evans/Arans.

Depends how wise your development team is.
In the case of kMS, I think it happened.
In the case of gMS though.. :|

Raul is incorrect anyway.
Considering he's a dual blader he should know this himself. How his Chains of Hell 30 didn't turn into Phantom Blow 30. Unless he forgot about that.

- If the skill ID for the removed skill is the same as the skill ID for a new skill, the points invested as well as the max level (if you used a book) stays the same.
- If the skill ID for a removed skill does not match the ID of a new skill, those skill points will be reinvested into your SP pool.
- If a new skill has a new ID that does not match any previous skill, it will require points to be invested. The skill may require a book to learn and/or raise its mastery level.
In the case of Bowmasters (example), Illusion Step, Spirit Link, Advanced Final Attack, and Ultimate Inferno take the place of Hamstring, Phoenix, Concentrate, and Vengeance. However, only Vengeance and Hamstring will be replaced. The remaining skills will be new skills with new IDs. Even though they directly replace, the IDs are different. Spirit Link is 3120006 and Phoenix is 3121006. Advanced Final Attack is 3120008 and Concentrate is 3121008. That slight difference means you'll get the SP back from the two skills, but you'll have to remaster their replacements. Elite Puppet is a new skill with a new ID that doesn't replace anything. Unless the IDs in the Ultimate Skill Table are wrong (doubtful since new mastery books were added), you'll have to learn new skills again.
