Well, I officially give up- first off, I know I'd be well spending over my monthly NX budget, which I'd spent most of it up prior to the event; and even if so, I'm still not going to be able to manage the one thing I actually desire out of the event. How the hell can I amass a massive ...nearly 1400 more tickets for this event in 7 days it lasts.

What's the going price on untradeable items? that's a very good question.

Really? I'm sure there's been a tradeable version of these things in the past...
Yeah, aren't these also found in Perion Gacha- and wasn't that capable of being sold?

Ummm... Moon & Star chair and the Fall chair (I forgot the official name) have not been available in the game until now. The objects have been in the data for a couple of patches, I think, but the only in-game screenshots I saw were from Asian versions of the game. (Edit: OK, a GM sat in the Fall one during an event once, that was in GMS.)
You may be thinking of some iTCG chairs or the round pink one, perhaps?
(Oh, and Perion Gachapon? How would anyone ever know what comes out of that one? )

Well in KMS Moonstar Chairs are only available via Gach, so looking into the future of gMS it's quite worth it to get the chair through this event.
However, IsaacGS informed me in-game that it's probably not the best idea to get the Under to Maple Tree chair. Why? KMS's recent anniversary event gave out the chairs like crazy, making them extremely easy and common to come by. Plus, since you can CHOOSE the Mastery Book you want AND they're only 3000 crystals, it's not as impossible to get the mastery books as people initially thought.
Case in point, I've got my Moonstar Chair and will have my 375m-worth Gen30 within the next 5 days of crystal hunting. I recommend those still hunting to seriously think about the prizes you're getting before actually getting them .

I think Shadowers have an advantage in the mini dungeon - killing 4-6 monsters at a time with bstep and BoT for 20 mana at a time is pretty effective to get 50-60 magic crystals per trip.
BTW, even if they do give out these chairs like crazy like dude below claims isaac said, I stand by my decision - this chair is easily the best looking one out of all of them in my opinion, even better than the Skull Throne, which looks too cartoony to be badass to me. Plus I love autumn leaves!
End result:

*whines incessantly about the event considering he can't even mange 20 a day and the thing he actually wants is never going to be gotten*
edit: do necomimis even have a price? I can't find them, so nobody must be getting them.

I've never seen someone with a Moonchair Chair, and they don't have Gachapon but Pigmy in KMS.
The Moonstar Chair and the Under The Maple Tree chair was already available before this Mini Dungeon Event occurred. I've seen people with Moonstar Chairs before and they got it from Gachapon and they were untradeable.
The only people that could get the Under The Maple Tree chair are the GMs.

Well regardless none of this really matters anymore in light of Nexon's announcement today that they'll re-open the dungeons again in mid-November. So I'll get my chance to get an Under the Maple Tree chair.
Of course this bit of news simply reinforces my advice for people: if you are stuck down to the choice of a Mastery Book and chairs, choose the Mastery Book. Nexon still hasn't said how long the dungeons will be open in November, but considering they'll open in the middle of the month it's safe to assume they'll be open for at least 2 weeks. 2 weeks is more than enough time to get the necessary crystals for both chairs.
HOWEVER, considering most people are getting both chairs this first round, they'll all be getting Mastery Books the next round unless prizes change. Long story short, depending on how long the dungeons stay open once they're re-opened, the gMS economy will change astronomically as more and more people have access to Mastery Books that are normally HT-only.
So again, choose the Mastery Book NOW if you can, because the prices on books like TT30, Gen30, and MW20 will only go down as the weeks drag on.

I must be a total noob. Since I wouldn't be able to get enough crystals, I didn't bother with this event. But then, I saw where Nexon was doing it again in November, so I thought I'd go today to test out the event dungeons.
I got my ticket, and went to Ant Tunnel II. I saw the new portal at the bottom, entered it, and started killing some of the monsters inside. Since they weren't dropping any crystals, I thought maybe I was in the regular, trainable mini-dungeon. (Sidenote: The way I read the event post and NPC text, you enter the regular mini-dungeon and once inside, go through a portal to the event map with monsters that drop crystals.) I saw a portal near where I entered, so I decided to take that to get to the event map. To my surprise, I was sent right back to Sleepywood, and I realized I had earlier lost my ticket.
I guess my question is what happened to the trainable mini-dungeons? Did the event ones replace them? If so, Nexon should have been a lot more clearer about that because no where have they said that they got rid of the trainable maps.

Sorry, but I giggled a bit to your story.
Anyway, yeah, they replaced the normal trainable dungeons with the event ones. Some people are pissed about that.

They didn't give us some of the maple gears this year. What makes you think they are gonna give out free stuff like that in GMS next year? They never did. Nearly all the events held this year gives NX users greater advantage. Maybe we need something to exchange for it during the anniversary event next year.
