Original Dragon Nest Thread

eh.

Leveling is easy. I was already at the cap four days into the beta. (Granted I had a general idea of what I was doing)
Most of your EXP will come from doing quests, especially once you unlock the Commission Board at Lv8.

Also, a note for the rest of us;
Minotauros Nest is limited to 7 runs a week. not sure if want

EDIT: Another note for the rest of us;
Nexon Wrote:• Warp NPCs have been added to Carderock Pass.
Possibly Saint's Haven?
Gotta limit all the epic farming somehow, otherwise all the 24s on the server will have a full Elf Queen's Set on the first day of release. Also, since the level cap still hasn't been raised yet... the opening content from Saint's Haven will probably be ridiculously easy, since most of us will have a bunch of nice gear we otherwise would not have bothered to get if we could've just kept leveling.

Seriously, greens seem more than acceptable.
KajitiSouls Wrote:Wait... you got deranked at +4? o.O That's news to me lol.
Never actually happened to me lol, but that's what the game data says. +3 to +4 is 80% though and you can lose between 0 and 1 ranks only if it fails, so it's a pretty rare chance.

We're getting costumes, looks like each class is getting 1 set in 3 colors. Looked like there were packages for the whole set for 15k, which I assume are perma.

Has it been confirmed that it's 7 runs a week? I thought that was there for the same reason Fatigue was there in other versions.

EDIT: nvm That's stupid. Almost as stupid as the 30 item limit in marketplace.

Was confirmed on the stream.

And Nests don't use FTG in other versions, which is why I was "not sure if want" rather than "do not want"

eh.

Go to Gerrant, tell me what class you make and I'll send spare stuff your way. Not like I'm going to do anything but NPC/marketplace it anyway.
KajitiSouls Wrote:It would Assassin's Den I believe, although what you do in the beginning of the boss fight could very well break you.

Valley of Mourning is just gay for melees because I can't juggle Harpies very well, they're very mobile, they spread really far apart, and they throw whirlwinds everywhere.

Maurader's Lair could be harder for ranged due to the limited space and the fact that the bosses like to get in your face. But they're easy to juggle, and they don't juggle your ass forever like the dark elves do.

yeah ended up doing 4.5 runs yesterday there. took me like 2 runs to get used to it, then it was straight 15 minutes to beat it with a semi full life bar. Managed a couple of S's and even a SS Big Grin then my internet died during my last run and i went to sleep so i could get to work in the morning. >.>

Also just now realized that because my interwebs died, i couldn't spend my free scales Sad
5 minutes.

If we're getting any delays, expect them now.

EDIT: Game's up, no delays.
I think I may even be rather impressed.

Quote:*Update*
Updates are complete, and servers are back up. Enjoy!
* Event rewards will be given out shortly.
I'm able to finish the patch, but when I select my server I get disconnected :\
Yeah, I can't log in either.
hmm random question:

If you don't complete the quest for the SP reset scroll after you advance, could you hypothetically stay there until you severely screwed your SP, then go back and get it? Or do you outlevel the quest at some point? I've followed a build already, so i really don't need to reset my SP yet, so i was kinda hoping to just let the quest stay there until i at some point accidentally put too many points into a skill or learn a wrong skill.

Also: LOL at theway they priced their NX.That's sooooo much money to spend on a game for a costume. Considering that their target audience is a teenager/freshmen college, don't think they'll have the funds for that sort of spending. I mean even in maple, their costume packages are just 15k. Dragon nest adding in a weapon makes it like 25k ~.~

Storage is worth it though. Inventory maybe not.

eh.

Cap is still only Lv.24, you got time to catch up and reach that, it only takes a few days if you play somewhat casually. Poast

You don't outlevel it, you can leave the quest unfinished until you need the reset, which is what most people do that know about that ''trick'', including myself.
Not to QQ or anything but....

I never got my dragon wings...Frown
Let me know if anyone wants to do Minotaur's Nest on Argenta, see if we can get a whole party together. No guarantees of survival though, I haven't done it ever.
Holy crap, those warping NPCs are awesome. As a frikin' slow Cleric, I highly approve.

Those free potions from the login event expire after a week, so I guess I'll play a little. *shrug* Not gonna be on tonight, though.

They're uh. Working on it, or something along those lines, according to a notice.
Didn't get my Wings. Nexon is in prime form today.

Still waiting for them to write up an excuse that blames the players somehow for not receiving the wings.

Oh my. Alteris said the team is looking into it.

I really am rather impressed with the DN team today, honestly. First they finish a patch on time, then they actually look into a problem.
Yes a lot of people didn't get wings, but they're still actually looking into it. This is a new experience for me.
Just got my wings. Contrary to what my research told me, they're only +5% move speed. Oh well. I'm happy I guess.

Yeah, quit Maple for Dragon Nest.
