I got called a noob on my DW, whose IGN is "WhatsaUA." I told the guy that my main was a 15x DB. He was like "I don't believe you, gtfo nub." So, I went on my main and tele'd to the guy who was KSing me. He backed down pretty damn fast when a guy 110 levels higher than him came in.

hit 120 on my ranger and advanced after killing off manon and griffey. made me smile to know i didnt take the easy way out of the advance

Flame Gear + Explosion is a pretty wicked combo to watch, even on monsters 18 levels higher than me.

Makes me excited for Jump, by which time I'll have both Flame Gear and Poison Mist lasting 40 seconds, allowing entire maps to be coated! MUAHAHA!

I was at CD's in Kerning.

Another guy tried to KS me, failed, and then brought in his 8x TB. I lol'd and brought my DB back.

I trained at CD's recently for the chaos warrior challenge and didn't have to deal with any though, so I guess while it's not today, it's something Maple made me smile about! Thank you for reminding me how grateful I should be to find good maps.(I even found an empty, hacker free Jester map for 3 hours a couple weeks ago.)

Smile, I dunno; my face has gotten pretty ridged, but I suppose I had a positive experience in the 20 mins I was on today. Passed MM Boost 30 after having failed it twice in the past. And I got it for a fair (ie not FM overinflated) price.

That and while when I was getting started on the daily Lunar Dew attempt, I had my buffs and summon out when I went into on map to have the first mob the summon killed drop one. And someone else happened to be in that channel at the time. So after picking it up I left for another channel and found no more that half hour. If it happened to be anyone here, I'd like you to know I'm sorry. Granted, I don't think they actually saw it since they tele'd onto my minimap after I had picked it up.

Today, worst day on maple for a while. A guy scammed ME my lvl 17 II ring while trying to get a permanent item for a friend. Later, I came to southperry and suddenly I'm hated. Today definitly not my day.

Wow! Pretty neat that you can train on monsters 18 levels higher than you! I struggle a little training at monsters around my level... though probably because I have mediocre equipment. Can't seem to make money in Maple...

I walked into a Viking map today and saw a botter kill himself. I decided to stay and do Pap quests on my I/L, and after about 5 minutes the same botter comes back and starts killing. I smiled because he killed himself again First time i've ever seen a hacker kill themselves while botting

If the other player was using Teleport, then there's no need to worry. While the items may look the same and serve the same purpose, there is a unique Lunar Dew for each job that's doing the quest; thus, only another Archer would have been able to see or loot the Lunar Dew that you found.


OT: Maple didn't do this directly, but it does make me feel happy to see that people are sharing positive experiences about the game now. I had gotten used to not reading a lot of topics like these that have a high probability of being derailed and turned into a Nexon bashing thread.

Yesterday, I suddenly decided to make a new Evan and race the deadline for the glasses. It's going better than expected, and now that Nexon is putting out EXP coupons again, I'm feeling pretty optimistic about getting to 80 in time. Of course, that's assuming the game will be stable after the patch, which is a pretty big assumption going by recent events.

Looked on desktop saw maplestory icon, saw WoW icon, played WoW, smiled.

I'm utterly perplexed as to why you say you're hated on Southperry, as I'm looking through your post history and I can't find anywhere where someone flamed you.
