Cubing troubles?
#21
On the one hand i've thrown 45+ cubes onto an epic top and still no unique and thrown 17 premium cubes to take stirges to 3line (it remained 2 lined, mind you. 25% rate my ass), on the other hand my gloves went rare to unique in 2 cubes (this is not a joke. if it matters they were on two separate days). So um..yeah. all luck.

Where is the question in this? Seems like you should have posted it either in discussion or angry dome, though the later is probably better since there is not much to discuss about a pure luck issue.

Its all about luck. My friend was cubing Spectrum Goggles a while ago and he had about 4 cubes left. After those 4 cubes it was still rare and I had one cube left so he gave them to me. They turned epic when I cubed them and he charged 5k NX to try and make them unique. I told him that if it would go unique within the next cube, I would slap him.

I slapped him.

I myself have never cubed anything to unique. The only thing thats unique for me is my cape which was unique upon first reveal. It took 16 cubes for my gun to be epic and another 10 after that it is still epic. Its just pure luck what you need.

Well, I get unique items fairly common with fusing. The sad thing is that I fuse lvl 5 hats. Skull brown cap with 9% str anyone?

I don't see any programming sense in those theories. Who would be bored enough out of his ass to sit and dictate that you can only get crap on Mondays and early Christmas presents on Black Friday?

XxSilencer Wrote:I'm at the point now where I have to get answers from other people, I want to know if people have been having some serious troubles getting items to unique. I've never had to spend a whole lot trying to get an item to unique but on my newest item I have now spent 220, yes, 220 cubes after epic trying to get it to unique. It went epic in 5 cubes but to be at 220 and still have it epic is just absurd. I've heard of people spending just as much after unique trying to get a specific stat sometimes but never have I even read of someone spending nearly this much on getting one item to unique. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

i hate cubing (rather spend nx on hair and clothes ;] ), but i usually get good results when i grudgingly cube.

3rd alien belt: 2 cubes = epic, 1 more cube = unique
targa helm: 2 cubes = epic
vss: 2 cubes = epic
raccoon mask: 4 cubes = epic
chaos helm: 3 cubes = epic
Bm reverse overall: 4 cubes = epic

This is why I only buy unique and well scrolled. It costs too much to do it myself. I've used some 300 cubes and never had an item go Unique. I didn't get my first unique item until I sold 20 cubes and bought one.

Oh. I am sorry, I totally only saw the post above mine and must have thought it was the initial post. My misstake.

I've had horrible luck since cubes came out, nothing new to me :|
I think I average around 70+ cubes to unique from rare and 100+ more after that to get 15%.

266 Cubes later, it finally goes Unique.

What item is it, if you don't mind sharing? Don't have to say the stats if you don't want to.

I remembered I had 15k MP on one of my mule chars so I thought I'd waste it on cubing for the first time. I got a 2 lined Crushed Skull to go to 3 lines with one premium cube. Guess I was lucky with that...and then the next 10 cubes gave crap potential. Rolleyes
