Feeding Imps
#1
There's something that I've noticed when you feed an imp. I know it's already established that feeding one with etc junk always gives 20 fullness.

I also know that equips can satisfy fullness too, but in varying amounts. If I give the imp an equip that's -100 levels below me (the min level of the equip required to be edible for the Imp), I don't get a lot of fullness. In fact, I probably get as much fullness as I would get if I fed it etc junk instead. If I give a lv 100 equip however, it gives 100 fullness.

So now I'm wondering... really how much fullness can an equip give? How much does an equip at a certain level give? I know it's dependent on your level, but it's just something that I wonder. Would it be true if the closer you are to the level of the equip that you're feeding your Imp, the more fullness it'll gain? And does your level affect how much fullness the Imp gets out of an equip at certain levels, assuming that the equip meets the minimum level?

I haven't tested much with equips, but with ETCs, I was feeding my imp ETCs from monsters almost 100 levels below, and they only gave 2 fullness. So it's not just equips that vary in fullness, ETCs do too.

Weird.
I always get 20 fullness.

Maybe I haven't tested out fullness w/ etc either. Then again I only fed it etc level 100+ to begin with.

Things like Flasks/Plugs/Wires gave my imp +8 or 9 fullness.
But any 100+ etc gave it 20.

On my lv 162 Pally, I fed my Imp level 67 etc's and got 1 fullness.
Level 68 etc's were 2 fullness.
Level 117 etc's were 20 fullness, for my level 200 hero as well.

I get 2 fullness per Etc.

Pretty vague.
Anyway it seems like fullness received is based on your level and the item's level as well.
Level 100+ items seem to give the full deal, 20/100 fullness.
While those lower are based on different values. If I could get more values I could figure it out, but so far it seems like a rough sketch would be like:
1-(Player Level - Item level)/100)*fullness

Same. Doesn't matter whether I use Kent etc drops or those official knight A etc drops.

How does this make sense?
I'm level 193 and get 20 fullness per level 173 etc drop.
I'm so confused.

Could closeness be a factor? I doubt it.
Level of Imp? I doubt that too..
Hell I don't know. =[

Yay mystery. There needs to be more experimenting for feeding imps lol. But now I know that etc drops are also affected by level. Equips are still the way to go to fully feed an imp very fast.

I think the max you can get form a etc is 20. Lower level etcs give less fullness (being a high leveled character).

I'm not sure what closeness has to do with anything, but I use those items that increase closeness every time you feed it for 10 times. Else you have to wait once every 10 mins to feed it to increase closeness.

I stopped using imps. Too stressful and not really worth it.
Just fed them with ToT drops when I did them, that always got me a lot.

Ok... this is weird. Or beneficial. xd

I have my DB that doubles as a jeweler. He's lv 54. I make tons and tons of these Nimble Ring IIs to train Jewelry, and they're lv 70. If I have an imp on my jeweler and feed him those rings, I get 100 fullness out of it.

So thus, if I just give him 10 rings, he's already full. Big Grin I just need pounding hearts to make the feeding process much much faster.

@ XTOTHEL, the closeness determines the quality of the diamond/fruit the Imp turns into by growth level 8. The higher the closeness, the higher the quality of the diamond/fruit, and thus better chances at some rare stuff. Generally, you'd want to aim for 100 closeness whenever possible.

One more data point: level 162 using level 96 etc's gets 7 fullness.

Make imp mules, everything you need is transferable. Pounding hearts, Imps, high-level equips (that cost maybe 1 Adamantium per to make), clocks, etc...

I'm not organized enough to remember when to get on the mules to feed their imps.

I make a custom reminder and only put my imps to sleep when I know I'll be awake 21 hours later, so it works out.
