How weird (cool) is your body?
#1
Just a thought that hit me getting ready for bed.

Fellow Southperrians, what is your body capable of? What is the grossest, coolest thing you can do?

Be it double-jointed elbows, ear wiggling, or even being able to stretch your body to the extreme, I want to know!

EDIT:

Certain users also peaked (piqued?) my interests on the second page, stating things that they COULDN'T do, that normally a person CAN do.

If you can think of any, I'd also be interested in hearing about those.

I can crack, it makes a loud popping noise, my right wrist repeatedly without any pain or feeling anything.

I can do a weird thing with my thumb, like fold it back or something. A lot of people can do this too, so it's not that amazing.

I can also hold a tiny human inside me for a maximum of 9 months.

I can kick 3 feet above my head without being flexible (meaning I can't even perform the splits half-way in either direction).

Only weird/cool thing I can think of is that I can bend my big toes down, then while they're down, push them up...it's hard to explain, it's like when you slump your neck down so your shoulders are really high...but w/ your toes.

I've always been able to do this thing where I can interlace my fingers together, climb over my two hands interlocked like that (so that my hands are now behind my back as if I were being arrested) and then bring them over my head again without letting go of the grasp between my two hands.

So if I'm ever in handcuffs and they are behind my back I can basically bring them to my front.

Your shoulder's double-jointed.

People say this is weird, but I don't think so. I can bend all my fingers minus my thumb back to make a 90 degree angle.

I'm surprised you haven't had a chance to test this out before.

I'm incapable of getting sick. Seriously. I haven't been sick since I was at least 14. Does this count?

I thought I put that in my post. Derp. Yeah, I have double-jointed shoulders.

I've obviously tested it out before seeing as how I'm aware of the fact that I can perform this act.

Was going to reply to these later, but I can't seem to sleep. Incoming: long post.

I used to (still can?) do this my right ankle. It wasn't loud or anything, but I could pop it repeatedly. No pain, but I could feel it.

I did know quite a few people in school who could do this. I wasn't one of them. Sad

As for the tiny human, that is quite the accomplishment. I can't say that I am blessed (cursed) in the same way.

Martial arts, right? Not surprising, for I'd rather be able to kick high than squish my manhood.

If I'm picturing this right... that's really gross/impressive.

Consider me jealous.

Can't do this.

You're 20 now, right? Or 21. That is an impressive feat, regardless. I think aside from allergies, I haven't gotten sick for a while, either.

tl;dr You're all awesome.

Thnaks to me being almost blind, my hearing is way too good. I can recognize family and friends cars streets far from my house. Only cool thing I'm capable of doing.

Oh and I guess another cool feature about my body, even though it's not really physical... I can tell when something oncoming is very near me. Say I'm looking straight ahead and a basketball comes flying from the left or right of me and there's no way I would be able to see it; I can sense it and most of the time dodge whatever is oncoming.

Isn't it like ESP or something?

I'm sure you're capable of many other cool things. This only being one of them.

Sounds a bit like something I can do -ish. As for what it's called, not a clue.

I also frequently have de ja vu's. Like when something happens, I swear I had a dream about it before but never remembered.

Deja Vu is when you remember actually living the specific scenario. Remembering it from a dream is referred too as a premonition I think..

Fun Fact: I also get too much of this. I have dreams of stuff I consider illogical, and the next day they happen. Rolleyes
But it happens only when I eat too much before going to sleep. Weird enough.

Totally didn't even think of this but i'm pretty much with mark on the never being sick train. 7th grade through 22 with nothing more than colds and coughs. Haven't missed anything within that time due to illness or injury.

Oh and I can induce and reduce partial dislocation of both shoulders at will. I'm just rather flexible on the the whole, but the shoulders are an extreme.

o.O

Is it because your arms are really flexible and big, or just an oversized tongue?
