Look at that, another newbie!

Hi everyone! I've been lurking quite a bit in the last few weeks and I thought it's about high time that I created an account!

I've been playing MapleStory on and off for many years now, pretty much since right after beta completed, before there was a cash-shop. Oh boy was it difficult to play the damn game then. I would play for a few days to a week at most, then give up because it was so grindy and slow.

However, I've always had a soft spot for MapleStory and I would install the game every couple of years to see what new changes have occurred. And a lot has changed, mostly for the better.

I started playing again for proper a few weeks ago and the first thing I discovered was that my main account was banned or something for hacking, even though I haven't touched it for 2-3 years and I've NEVER hacked. It had my level 51 cleric main on it and while it might not seem much to you, it took me ages to grind to that level back in the days. I've lodged a support ticket from Nexon but so far I've only got automated messages.

But in the meantime, I've started anew as an I/L mage and I've already reached level 71 with sproadic playing! It goes to show, while Nexon still sucks in many ways, they've definitely improved the gameplay.

Enough rambling! Here's some information about me:

Name: Belinda
Age: 25
Location: Australia
When I started playing Maple & what server: Within a year after it opened, first Bera then Bellocan, now Windia
Other Games I play: Heaps! I play a lot of TF2, RPGs (Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Neverwinter Nights etc), Sims 3, a bunch of NDS games...
Where I heard about SP: I was looking up crafting guides when it first came out, found a really useful one here.
Reason for Registering: To post and comment!

Three interesting facts about me are:

1) I have two University degrees
2) I bake damn good choc-chip cookies
3) I'm really bad at jumping in MapleStory, it's embarassing. D:

I recently quitted a guild on MapleStory because it was dead and no one talked to each other. I'd love to join an active one, and to add more friends in the game. So if there are any players on Windia interested, please add me (Lomelindel)! Smile

Unfortunately, I don't think cookies mail well. Shame that, I love making them and watching people enjoy them, probably more than eating them!
