And here I was hoping that cash shop was down because of them giving us a compensation.

They were suppose to be gone on August 2nd...but they either stayed or reappered yesterday.

Game was down for about 14 hours.
1. Missed 2x event.
2. Expired 1-day mushies.
3. Expired NX in general.

A normal company would have a UPS backup system, and a gas powered generator as a backup of THAT backup. So yes, I would expect some form of compensation for that.

It has it's own IP, that's why they can shut down the CS at will.

While it doesn't surprise me that their ToS trying to make something that is illegal legal, the fact still remains. If someone with decent lawyers went to court with them over that, NEXON would lose that one.

Not that anyone that plays cares enough to actually do that, or even realizes that what they are doing is any more than simple douchebaggery.
