However long they need to haha.

While I wouldn't turn down some compensation, I just want the servers back up and running with minimal mess. When an unexpected power outage occurs, usually it's just some recalibration of some of the hardware and you're golden. Not sure why it's taken so many hours since they got their power back. I suppose the person/people on weekend shifts don't know how to do that and had to call in some others, that probably didn't make any effort to come in to work, on a weekend, on time. Understandable, but unfortunate.

A server shutdown and loss of power should not adversly effect maple, a simple restart should work. That is unless nexon fuwks up their servers doesnt have a auto backup system or something....or even better yet nexon could buy something called a backup generator...with those millions of nx dollars they are making off us...

more money cause so far they have made no money in 7 hours f3 i bet it would be cheaper to of had a backup generator...then servers crashing calling staff in for overtime and fixing all this crap...

How do they earn more money in these 7hrs? People who are going to buy nx for stuff are going to buy it eventually+aren't nexon worker's payed slave labor?

If servers continue to be down because nexon cant be professional and have a proper back-up system people will be less inclined to keep playing their game. Therefore they will stop buying nx because they will stop playing the game.

Though I have no idea whats actually going on so that's merely speculation. At least on their lack of a back up system.

Edit: Also keep in mind that ALL of their games are down right now, not just maple. So that's an even larger player base.

Has there even been any official notice of what happened over at Nexon or what the cause of this is? I've been trying to look into it but all I've read so far is something about a blackout. But last time they had one the sites/servers weren't down for nearly this long.

I was saying, because there has been so much downtime lately it wouldn't be so far a leap as to think they people would get fed up and stop playing.
