The Halloween Thread =D

I didn't see one so... here! Glitter

I abso-freakin-lutely love Halloween. I love any excuse to dress up, and what's even better, you get free candy! Cool Post anything related to Halloween here: funny Halloween stories, costume ideas, plans, etc.

Well, my friends and I are broke this Halloween, so we can't do anything really elaborate this year... instead, we will be going to a local bowling alley as these guys:

I already got a bunch of cardboard and construction paper... huzzah for ghetto costumes! Biggrin It is still my dream to cosplay as Talim from Soul Calibur... I think I could do a really good job, since we have the same body type (read: I got no boobs Tongue) and I have a ton of hair. I just have to figure out how to get my freakin' sewing machine to do what I want it to. Eek

Hey, that tetris idea is cute! That's what I call originality.

I'm not dressing up because being myself is scary enough.... BUT I will be scaring the kids that come to my house. Last year we had like 5 people in my garage starting up the chainsaw, lawnmower, other items, screaming and banging on doors and squirting ketchup around.

I scared those kids shitless. Who knows, they might not come back this year.

I'm too old to go trick or treating, but i love it when i scare the SHlT outta those kids. last halloween I held a knife in my hand when I open the door, and the kids though i'm a fuucking murder, it's so hilirious. don't know what i'm gonna do this year though...

I love Halloween myself as well, anything to celebrate mythologic beast and horrifying monster. Anyways, you said anything Halloween related is fair game. Okay, here you go.

I'll see your Salem, and raise you one "The Atlantic Paranormal Society", AKA TAPS (Rhode Island born and I live in RI). For those who don't know, TAPS is the group from the show Ghost Hunters and yeah, they have investigated Salem before.

You also have my favorite Author, H.P Lovecraft.
Although we do have the birthplace of Poe...

You seriously copied my Halloween costume idea lol.

It was either the L tetris piece or a Ostrich.

>_>

I'm thinking of Tom Cruise from Risky Buisness though.

I'm in Warwick, literally a 10 minute at most drive from the TAPS RI headquarters.

Sadly, our costumes will probably end up looking more ghetto... Eek

And haha @ GMSInfighter, I did not copy your idea... at least not intentionally. Biggrin There are six of us who are doing this (for sure anyway, if we can convince a couple more we'll have eight) so it will be awesome to have a lane full of tetris pieces. We're even gonna carry around a boombox (I feel so old using that word) with all the different versions of the Tetris music... Woohoo Tetris Posse! Cool

Yeah, we're all pretty nerdy. Wink

It was actually pretty funny... people were like "OMGAD LEGOS!" "Are you supposed to be Jenga?" "Are you supposed to be PEZ? I love PEZ!"

Like lawl.

I wanna see SP Halloween pictures. Frown

[edit] I'm the one with the pink hair, btw.

All I can about this Halloween was that I survived it without some idiot driving by my house and defacing it with TP or eggs. Oh and I was also lucky not to get any trick-or-treaters to stop by my house, as I was alone at the time and didn't have any candy to give out.

Everyone deserted our neighborhood for other, bigger ones so...yea. It was slow moving and whatnot.

I might get a costume or two in college, but meh. I don't bother dressing up or doing anything cuz of boredom. :/ Still, nice idea with the Tetris pieces. Tongue And those would be awesome costumes! Ghetto...anything but. Smile
