The standard build is alright but I wonder how well some of the other skills would fare if they were maxed earlier. (like wraith of Octo and Air strike) Most of the time I don't even want to jump in the boat because its sort of like transforming into a big target. (especially in Ice knight) But its the only way to use Torpedo...
