I assume something with the "Objection!" speech bubbles. That was one of the reasons they said he couldn't be in TvC, actually- difference in length between Japanese and English text, which probably wouldn't apply here.

But to be honest, as much as I love Phoenix Wright, the Steel Samurai would represent the series so much better in a fighting game.

They can make Roll a unique fighting style, and there are tons of ideas for Phoenix Wright movesets scattered along the web. I personally would see him as a summon character, since one thing that makes the series so fun is the whacky cast of characters. However, with 3D animation it's a bit too time consuming making full models for different characters just to be used in one moveset. They did it with Strider though, and most likely Frank West as well, so who knows.

To keep with the lawyer theme, I am guessing Phoenix will probably do many of his attacks with a briefcase. I can also see his supers will involve a giant gavel being thrown in the enemy's face, and his level 3 will be Mia Fey emerging to give the enemy the Objection of their life.

Who wants to guess how much health and how strong they will make Nick? I'm guessing he'll have health levels of roughly Ryu, and power levels will be betweem Ryu and Chris. Speed-wise, he'll probably be mid-tier in terms of speed since I just can't imagine Phoenix Wright being lightning fast and combo-happy. Definitely seeing him to be akin to Spencer, minus ranged attacks.

I'd be cool playing him regardless of where he falls. I play Hsien-ko despite her apparently being bottom tier or something. Do wonder what buffs they'll give her though. (Pendulum cancel plz Capcom)

I play her too, she's pretty awesome but sometimes sluggish. I heard they made her Pendulum and air dash faster. Still hoping for an OTG... right now I'm using her sword hyper as one to combo into forward Hard to spike balls hyper for some more damage.

I'd imagine he'd be like Doronjo from TvC, summoning other characters from his game to attack and speech bubbles.

Oh, should we make a thread discussing all the changes that are being made from Vanilla MvC3 to this version? I read about many changes like Ryu getting tons of changes that can possibly make him better than Akuma, Tron/Haggar's assists being nerfed hard, and rumors that Sentinel is going to be MvC2 fast. Also, Wesker takes a huge health nerf, possibly worse than what Sents received.

Apparently Sent got another health nerf, but it's much smaller than the 400k that got slashed before. Also, everyone in the game apparently now has a mash special, similar to Cable's Hyper Viper Beam in MvC2 where you mash to do more damage.

Morrigan has a new Soul Fist version, travels slower but steals 1/3 of opponent's hyper meter.

HsienKo throws more stuff now... which is pretty useless. But I heard she can jump cancel her f+M & f+H.

Viper has a beam that's charged like Zero's buster, can only be used on the ground. Also heard that you can't go from Special to EX moves. : \
