Original Dragon Nest Thread

Well I'm done with my first day of actually playing Dragon Nest. My hard drive didn't fry on my desktop which is a good sign.

I got to level 6 with not very much playing time. Im just wondering, does leveling stay just as easy as it has been, or does it get progressively harder? If it stays the same, I could possibly hit 24 in one or two more days.

Also, thanks for the advice on Paladin builds you guys. I'm happy with my current application of my SP.

In regards to scales, what kinda stuff has everyone else bought? I personally got Scarlet Eyes, and thats it. I love the look of my eyes though.

I'm looking for (all high grade) mystical, fierce, life-giving, wise, windswept, toxic spray, gravity ball, frag arrow and twin shot. Good thing they ALL drop in 1 place! Assuming for stat plates I settle for level 16 plates.

Like Crude Onyx. Which Sanctuary Nexus has plenty of, if you do it over and over and over again.

Actually I've been running a combination of Lab, Retreat, and Nexus now that I'm capped. Basin sucks, Dead Man's Road sucks, Cloister Main Hall also sucks.

I dunno about you, but I get 3-4 crude onyxes per solo run on Master Dead Man's Road.

By 'sucks' I meant that I don't like the dungeon, lol.

Hit level 24, and I blew up two more equips trying to get them to +7. This is why I have been disliking these games, because there's absolutely no reprieve from this miserable excuse of a so-called RNG.

After getting myself a new sword and the epic ring for soloing all the lvl 15 Abyss dungeons, I'ma call it quits. Unless I get the dragon wings from the event.

Some fun going through those Abyss runs with you guys, even though it was basically me leeching. lol.

Hmmm. I can't seem to get the game to run properly, which is odd... I can play a good deal other games that require far more power than this one. Starting the game causes it to minimize and refuse to maximize and actually be playable... though the login screen music gets through. I'll have to investigate how to fix this.

Edit: It's working now. Made a cleric named Somner! Don't have time to play much right now, but I will later today.

In order to get your wings, you need to do 3 dungeons a day till the close of OBT.

Make sure you kill him before you kill that mob. I did it the other day.
