Oh but anyway I was doing some 2s with RDruid last night for CP cap. He kind of sucked lol. The dude had just come from one healing normal chimareon and he couldnt keep me alive in arena. Was sad. First two matches we lost. Third match he died in one min to hunter warrior, thank god I wasn't targeted much cuz I brought hunter down to 80% by the time he died and was able to solo them both while he alt tabbed and didn't even know I was continuing. This is at 1400MMR.

Dark is looking up stuff for sub rogue. He'll prob be okay.

I have four to six distant people at that I told gear up and want to PVP with me. Problem is I only wanna do 3s with one comp.

I have a warlock, RDruid, rogue, and priest. so many possible combinations. I'm turned off with the RDruid lol. We won 8 lose 6 last night...

I have a question. Currently I have mining/engineering as my 2 profession, but engineering is kinda of useless beside belt nitro boost and gloves synapse strings, and both only work well for my ret spec giving no bonus at all for prot spec(480 stamina for 10 sec isn't a bonus at all).

So my question is:

i have my back/legs/glove with engineering enchants (tinkers) but i'm thinking to drop engineering for JC (I can gem my gear with 101 stamina gem/67 mastery gem, plus it would work better with mining since i can cut some gem and sell in AH), if I drop engineering, I will still be able to use these gear, just the enchant won't work right? I asked in guild and no one gave me a 100% answer to that. I'm afraid if I drop engineering I wont be able to use the gear with tinkers :S.

Dropping Engineering disables / removes the tinkers from your equips, so you'll never be able to use them. If you're really bent on having JC, just accumulate as much mats as possible from mining, drop mining, pick up JC, and powerlevel it to 525 with all the mats you obtained. You're better off having two main professions over 1 main and 1 gather IMHO.

This is how I did it. I dropped Herb on my rogue, picked up Eng, and powerlevel'd that to 450 back in Wrath. I have a Lock alt with Herb and Mining to compensate.

You keep the gear, nothing happens to it other than the tinkers vanishing.

It's the best PvE profession in the game by a very slim margin, by 1 point. Most other main profs offer a +80 boost while JC is 81 due to the Chimera Eyes.

JC only give some better gems, like 101 stamina blue gem, 67 str/agi/int/mastery/etc gem, and you can use 3 at the same time, and for tanking its like the best bonus i can get.

well hmm, I can't make any gold with engineering, and since I don't have any alts, having a gathering profession is good to make gold.
with JC, i can prospect ores and cut the gems i find and sell in the AH, I think its the best profession combo for me.

My guide to focus macros

***What is focus and why is it useful?*** - Focus, in shortest terms, is a second target. It allows a player to watch two targets at the same time. Not only does it allow you to watch two targets, it allows you to use spells on multiple targets without actually targeting them. As you progress in arenas, or even exceptional players using it in PvE, focus becomes very important and makes tasks much easier.

***How to use focus ***- The way to do it without a macro is to right click someone's portrait and select "Set Focus" from the drop down menu. This is very inefficient so the first thing you want to do is set up a way to make your focus target without using the drop down menu. I use this macro and bind it to the "~" key next to 1.

/clearfocus
/Focus [target=mouseover, exists]

This macro sets whatever target you have moused over as your focus when you hit that button. If you use that button without a mouseover it will clear your focus. This is great for battlegrounds when you aren't able to use an arenafocus macro.

***Using focus and focus CC in arenas ***- The biggest benefit of a focus target isn't watching a second target, it's being able to use spells on your focus without changing your current target. The easiest way to do this and make good muscle memory habits is to make your spell, and the focus macro for that spell, on the same button.

For example, my gouge is bound to 4, and my focus gouge is bound to shift + 4. Binding gouge to 4 and focus gouge to shift + 1 just wouldn't make any sense.

There are a few ways to set up a focus. Continuing to use Gouge as my example, I could bind gouge to 4 and then make a separate keybind for shift + 4 and put my focus gouge macro there. This uses up 2 keybind slots but can sometimes be useful when you have a complicated macro already. For gouge, I also have

/cast Premeditation
/cast [stance:1/3] Ambush; Gouge

bound into it as well to help reduce bar switch lag when I use shadow dance. So I use a separate keybind for focus gouge because sometimes it bugs out if I have my focus gouge added into it.

Another way to use focus is to add a shift modifier into the macro. The macro would look like this

/cast [modhift, target=focus] Blind; Blind

The problem with using this macro is that you can not forget to unbind that key if it has a bind already!!! . For example, shift + V is for toggling character nameplates. If I bound shiv to V and used a focus macro for shiv, shift + V would not use focus shiv, but would instead toggle my character nameplates. You must unbind shift + v if you put a shift modifier focus on v.

***Using Focus in Arenas*** - This is probably the most useful place in the game to use a focus macro. A lot of people will use Gladius to set a focus by right clicking a target on Gladius. I prefer to use macros and keybinds. On my rogue, shift + mouse scroll up sets the first enemy player in the arena match to focus, shift + mouse scroll down sets the 2nd player, and middle click sets the third. The macros I use look like this

/focus [@arena1]

/focus [@arena2]

/focus [@arena3]

Binding these to keys allow you to switch focus quickly and use your CC much more effectively on different targets.

In case your wondering... no, recount is usually smaller and in the right corner of the screen. I'm loving quartz aswell.
I disabled bartender when I first started this character, it was kind of useless back then... I have to set it up again, must be useful while transforming and stuff. But then again, I'm only using 6 or 7 keys while training...

I've been practicing how to move with only my mouse but I find it awfully uncomfty while questing or while going through stairs...
Using mouse only is useful for everything or just for PvP?

I just saw that. So the sub number went from -600k (-600k) -> +100k (-500k) -> -300k (-800k). Cata too fail!

The +100k was from the WoW vidcast "Legendary", in where apparently a Blizz rep was quoted saying they gained ~100k subs shortly after the 600k drop, but they're still reporting 11.1mil Subs, so they lost another 100k somewhere.

It's because they don't give a pineapple about PVP.

You should really learn how to keybind. Watch that swifty video I posted. Anything including 6 to = should not be bound to anything.
