Something interesting to note is that you will never be placed into the same pvp map as someone on your buddy list. I had to delete a buddy off in order to find a match at all during non-peak hours. This doesn't apply to guilds though.

The fact that I ended up PvPing with at least 3 or 4 different buddies in my list says otherwise. Though, those chances were probably very low.

not many PVP at night actually, i have been waiting in a room for what seems like ages, i could probably get some friends to come too.

Weird, my friend was in a FFA match at night (where there were only around 8-10 people doing FFA, and I'd see the same people each time) in the gold richie map, and selecting FFA continuously put me alone in the cygnus and pink bean maps randomly (tried this around 20 times). I got into the gold richie map right after deleting him off my list, and the match wasn't near 10 people so space in the match wasn't the issue. He's also in my guild. Maybe it was just coincidence.

Also, if anyone's wondering, the att buff gives +200 battle mode att (100 for team), the def buff gives +6000 regular weapon/magic def (2000 for team), and the speed buff gives +20 regular speed.
