That's another one of the Generals of his army. Not sure how to romanize his name though... Akyrum? Ahkairum? Something like that.

Except Rien can still be seen on the map, right below Victoria Island. There's nothing to the west of Victoria Island that I can think of that has fallen to the Black Magician's influence in the past, unless...

I have been waiting for the history of Victoria's past for forever as well. It could very well be possible that some weird stuff went on when Sharen III was King. However, bear with me on this, as this a very unlikely prediction, I think the cloud over Western Victoria could maybe be related to Masteria and the whole situation of the "Alchemist of Krakia" who was inspired by another alchemist (Black Magician?).

Edit: In addition to the whole Sharenian situation, I always thought that Ergoth was brought about by the Black Magician to destroy Sharenian. I mean, I can't see any other character who would make Northern Victoria bare besides the Black Magician.

I'm really glad they aren't strong boss wise. All warriors focus on bossing mostly. Be a change for once. Also it wont be a massive bandwagon since they aren't as good a Mercedes in bossing. Nexon actually did something smart for once making their shields so they cant be scrolled.
