how does potential work in terms of hwo many you can use on a weapon?
#1
I have my lv. 130 ewand, and was wondering how this works?

I mean, how many can you use? I have 1 slot on it left. can i use multiple potential scrolls? or does it take up a slot to use it?

potential doesn't use slots, you simply use it, and then it either gains an "unidentified" status, or goes boom.

rule of thumb is to potential first :X

no, it doesn't. you can only use 1 potential scroll on an item, seeing as it will either succeed or break.

1 per item and it doesn't use up any slots.

it doesn't "use" slots like regular scrolls, but items with slots can be potentialed. Also, once the scroll works, you never have to use another again.

Just wait for the CS potential granting item as to not risk blowing up your ewand.

so when ppl say they have 2nd line, and going for 3rd line, what are they referring to?

So you can potential as long as you have one available slot? but only potential once? Then how do some ppl have 2 or 3 lines. I assume that using potential scroll successfuly once gives you 1 line ?

Also, if an item came potentialed (from a drop for instance, or crafted), can you potential it again?

You can potential an item with slots no matter if their used or no (we have pendants with slots and thus can be potentialed but at the same time we have some with no slots and they can't be potentialed), the item when potentialed can come randomly with 2 or 3 lines but if you have an item with 2 lines you can use the orange miracle cube (cash item (can't remember its name)) for a chance to make it 3 lined.

ah ic. thanks.

So if you obtain an item which has hidden potential and you identify it (with magnifying glass), then you can't use a potential scroll of it anymore?

Also, is it complete random what type of stats it can get?

Yep and yep (there actually a pool from which it picks what potential it would give and there are different pools for type of item and potential tier (item level: 0-30, 31-70, 71-200)), only way to change what it gives is with miracle cubes.
